The Greatest Wisdom

The greatest wisdom is to know our creator and the laws that govern the universe. We can have all the intellect and knowledge in the world, but if we lack wisdom, we can’t do anything, and we stumble everywhere we go. Because intellect without wisdom is looking at the surface rather than the source. What better way to look at the source than to look at the one who created it all, including you. Look beyond the superficial ego and realize what truly matters, which is eternal. The soul is eternal, it never dies, and it always seeks joy and success, knowing ultimately how to get there. Danny G.

Life Requires Contrast to Create Evolution

We need contrast to create experience and evolution. We need a platform and a reference point to create our lives and change the world. Without a platform or reference point, there is no evolution and ultimately no journey. Without contrast, we cannot choose, and we cannot define who we are. Danny G.

Many Roads to Rome

Is there a right or wrong, or are there simply better choices, that agree with our soul? Let’s acknowledge, there are many roads that lead to the same destination. We often worry about getting it wrong, making a detour, or wrong turn. The moment we get up again, our destination still remains. If we make an effort to let go and embrace the moment and opportunity to pursue our destination, we find there are many roads that lead to Rome. Let’s not make our journey more troubling, by doubting ourselves and denying our power. Let’s acknowledge many roads lead to Rome, and let’s choose the path that resonates with our soul. Danny G.

Stepping Back From the Chaos (Poem)

In the quiet of the night,

Where everything is still,

And dark

Behind the misty sky,

The world shuts down,

Stops,

And dreams,

Looks so real

As we ponder

The night-time visions

Of above,

Giving us glimpses

Of our daily thoughts

As we contemplate,

Breathe,

And Rejuvenate.

When we get up,

Like the quiet of the night,

This place of stillness,

Away from the chaos

Of today,

No distractions,

Just being,

Without contradictions,

Steering us away,

From our divine purpose

And unanswered prayers.

We find a place within,

Where all answers are within,

What was once hidden,

Is now within our reach,

As we contemplate, correlate,

And find our place,

In the chaotic world of today.

From this space of stillness,

What was once an annoyance

And disturbance,

Is now a figment,

Of our imagination,

Always was,

We just didn’t accept it

Until we stepped back,

And looked within,

The essential calling,

Of our soul.

Solitude Needed At Times (Poem)

Solitude is my friend,

My place of zen

Where I enter

When frustrated

Indecisive

Or angry.

I look within,

The only power

I’ll ever have

To change within

So I can change

The course.

When I enter within

I can conquer mountains

In front of me.

And I can enter the world,

And be happy and at peace,

Despite the chaotic world

Of our nation.

Being Genuine

People respect an individual who’s true to themselves, not someone who teaches one thing but contradicts himself through his actions. What is living your teachings? It’s teaching happiness because you are happy. It’s teaching gratitude because you are grateful. If you know what brings happiness, gratitude, and you’re living it, then go teach it. However, if you’re not living it, teach something you know. In the meantime, work at being happy, then once you live it, you’ll teach through the clarity of your example. Invest time for yourself, and then in time you’ll be living it and well able to reach out to others. Danny G.

Face Life the Real Way (Poem)

He came into this life,

With atrocities of every kind,

As all he wanted was a life

Free of trouble

And heartache.

As he was looking for freedom,

And inner peace,

He was bound by beatings,

inferiority

And abuse.

He then reverted to alcohol,

All day and all night,

As he was looking for stillness,

And couldn’t find it at home.

He then sank into this pit,

Of self-destruction

And maze,

He couldn’t get out,

So he drank and smoked pot

To relieve the pain.

Numbness was his stillness,

Until he developed

Health problems, and this overwhelming sadness.

He was feeling empty,

All this time,

He was reverting to alcohol and drugs

To numb the pain.

Then one day,

A lady came into his life,

Loved him like no other ever did.

Taught him self-love,

How to appreciate the moment,

Finally he was happy and felt understood.

He never understood,

Why he was brought up this way,

But he knew this young lady

Was a gift from God, till this day.

He then said to himself,

No longer will I numb the pain,

From this dark cloud,

Of self-destruction and maze.

Despite the troubles,

I still see beauty in the world,

Despite its imperfections,

And I choose, to face life this way.

The Swim to Victory (Poem)

As I swim in the deep cold blue,

Beneath remains squids, sharks, stingrays

And 30 feet deep.

I stay focused on the sandy shore,

About 500 meters away,

As the current comes sweeping my way,

I gasp for air,

In these 10 feet waves,

From the shoreline grace,

Completely focused on my destiny,

Completely focused on my victory,

I’ve pulled through in my mind,

So be it in life.

As the squids try to attach,

And the sharks try to bite,

And the stingrays tries to sting,

I’ve been down this current before,

I won it in my mind,

So be it in life.

The Teacher

The teacher always presents himself at the ideal time for your ultimate best. He pushes you into uncharted territory to smooth out the rough edges. With always your best interest at heart, if you simply listen, and not push against, he will reveal to you, your true self, from your own lenses. Danny G.

Just Being (Poem)

A hot cup of java,

On a cold wintery morning,

Sipping and staring at the bay.

Watching snowflakes,

Melt on the branches,

As it drips,

Into the shadowy stream.

Glancing at the sunrise,

While the birds whistle

And sing, like a melody,

With hymns.

I feel the cool crisp air on my skin,

As I’m lost in the moment,

Without a care in the world,

Just being.
