Calling It Into Being

What shall I name you, pain, fear or dread? Or shall I name you joy, triumph and victory? The moment I name it, I bring the very essence of it to life. The moment I declare my victory, faith manifests and I thrive. Therefore, I choose joy, and a relentless faith, to bring about its essence and best outcome out of life. I know it’s the only means to victory, and I know it’s the path of least resistance, to freedom and outstanding peace. Danny G.

At Peace With Anything

I pause in my tracks, waiting for my destiny to unfold its path. I look within, declare my wants as though it’s my destiny. I remain still, while not allowing the storm to sweep me away. From within, I can just be and conquer mountains in front of me. From this space, I can just be, and be at peace with anything. Danny G.

You’re Forever In Our Hearts (In Loving Memory of Brady Dubeau)

It seems yesterday, you were as happy as can be,

Riding your bike, and pulling stunts all day long.

Life gave you a challenge, so great,

You questioned in disbelief,

And couldn’t understand why.

You were a fierce fighter,

Never wanting to give in,

When the battle was overwhelming

You fought and fought

To relieve the pain.

We’ll always remember,

The days you held on,

Simply for your zest of life.

And we’ll always remember,

The days you held on

All the tears you shed

When life was overwhelmingly sad.

Most importantly

You imparted memories

And love in our hearts,

And we’ll never forget

Nor regret your short journey,

Of simply being yourself.

You touched many lives,

And many tears are shed,

For the great man who left.

Farewell my brother,

Until we meet again

In another dimension

You’re forever in our hearts

And with us always.

Breaking the Barriers

Standing before the steadfast wall,

Uncertain of what path may be,

I declare my wants

As if it’s my destiny.

Only then I can shatter the wall,

When I seek within

And shout aloud,

Faith conquers anything,

From where ever calls.

Only then I can be,

And conquer mountains in front of me,

Letting the tide sweep me away,

As I break the barriers in front of me.

Letting Go and Embracing the New

I know I must let go, because in the depth of my being, it’s a dead-end road bound to cause sorrow. I know I must let go, because I need to move on, and looking back perpetuates the unfolding. I know I must let go, for my own good, and I know I must let go, to move on, from the destructive hindrance, of holding on. Danny G.

The One Who Changed It All

There was a time when you depended on someone, a mentor of some sort, whom you relied on for everything. You went to him when you were in your darkest alleys, trying to find relief, out of mere frustrations and disarray. Everything he taught you made sense, and it resonated with your very core. Today, you’re on stable footing, but you still remember this very day. The day where you sought help out of mere confusion, and found relief. You still remember the man, as he was your own flesh and blood. Now you’re ok, you’ve got the tools, while you allow the current to sweep you away, and you remember with faith, appreciation, and astonishment, the one who changed it all on your darkest day. Danny G.

Distraction the Best Healer

When I focus on the fear and pain, I magnetize it with my own eyes. Then the fear and pain becomes greater, only to pierce my fuzzy eyes. When I distract myself from the thought and sensation, I return to peace, where divinity lies. By regaining my inner peace, I become me again, and realize, perception is where wisdom lies. Danny G.

Stepping Back From the Chaos (Poem)

In the quiet of the night,

Where everything is still,

And dark

Behind the misty sky,

The world shuts down,

Stops,

And dreams,

Looks so real

As we ponder

The night-time visions

Of above,

Giving us glimpses

Of our daily thoughts

As we contemplate,

Breathe,

And Rejuvenate.

When we get up,

Like the quiet of the night,

This place of stillness,

Away from the chaos

Of today,

No distractions,

Just being,

Without contradictions,

Steering us away,

From our divine purpose

And unanswered prayers.

We find a place within,

Where all answers are within,

What was once hidden,

Is now within our reach,

As we contemplate, correlate,

And find our place,

In the chaotic world of today.

From this space of stillness,

What was once an annoyance

And disturbance,

Is now a figment,

Of our imagination,

Always was,

We just didn’t accept it

Until we stepped back,

And looked within,

The essential calling,

Of our soul.

Solitude Needed At Times (Poem)

Solitude is my friend,

My place of zen

Where I enter

When frustrated

Indecisive

Or angry.

I look within,

The only power

I’ll ever have

To change within

So I can change

The course.

When I enter within

I can conquer mountains

In front of me.

And I can enter the world,

And be happy and at peace,

Despite the chaotic world

Of our nation.

Face Life the Real Way (Poem)

He came into this life,

With atrocities of every kind,

As all he wanted was a life

Free of trouble

And heartache.

As he was looking for freedom,

And inner peace,

He was bound by beatings,

inferiority

And abuse.

He then reverted to alcohol,

All day and all night,

As he was looking for stillness,

And couldn’t find it at home.

He then sank into this pit,

Of self-destruction

And maze,

He couldn’t get out,

So he drank and smoked pot

To relieve the pain.

Numbness was his stillness,

Until he developed

Health problems, and this overwhelming sadness.

He was feeling empty,

All this time,

He was reverting to alcohol and drugs

To numb the pain.

Then one day,

A lady came into his life,

Loved him like no other ever did.

Taught him self-love,

How to appreciate the moment,

Finally he was happy and felt understood.

He never understood,

Why he was brought up this way,

But he knew this young lady

Was a gift from God, till this day.

He then said to himself,

No longer will I numb the pain,

From this dark cloud,

Of self-destruction and maze.

Despite the troubles,

I still see beauty in the world,

Despite its imperfections,

And I choose, to face life this way.
