Your life unfolds according to your response. Your inner chatter is always telling a story. Listen to your self-talk. For every negative affirmation, there is always a positive affirmation. When we listen to our inner chatter, pay attention, and are proactive, we turn negativity into positivity. We turn fear into faith, and we turn bitterness into compassion.

Thought for Today

Remember that not long ago, the affirmations, prayers you made along with the persistent spirit within you. Realize that then, your prayers were unanswered, you were fatigue beyond reason and you wanted to give up. Now you’re standing still knowing that your persistence and resilience brought you here. You can barely recognize the past, and your overwhelming emotions back then. You then say to yourself, I’m glad I persisted, I’m glad I had faith, and I’m glad that I prayed despite standing still. Because today, I’m standing still with a smile rather than a frown, as yesterday’s faith and persistence has become my reality today. Danny G.

If you want permanent change and to stop reliving those negative cycles, you must get to the root cause. Find out what beliefs and expectations are not serving you and change your self talk. Change your self talk to believing and expecting a little more. Find out what’s stopping you. Changing little by little every day has the tendency to create great manifestations. Often, you don’t need huge leaps of faith. You just need to be your best where you are with what you have and take that next baby step. Danny G.

Self-awareness is being conscientious about our thoughts, words and reworking those thoughts, words into positive statements and affirmations. Staying stuck in the past is replaying old scenarios over and over again. By changing our inner dialogue, we speak about our new beliefs, expectations and we act on it. The more emotions we give our new thoughts, the more inspired and motivated we are to take action. By thinking in a new light, we open our minds to other likeminded people with similar thoughts and beliefs. As before, we were too close minded, but now we’re more receptive to the new and willing to let go of the old. Danny G.

Lacking self-discipline and self-control can be described as an affirmation that we’re powerless. When we’re undisciplined we’re basically saying that our thoughts, words and behavior are not in our control. Danny G.
