Thought for Today

Aging is inevitable, but declining is optional. Although one day you will cross over to the other dimension, know that there is nothing written in the sky that says on that particular day you must transition. You choose through your choices, spiritual journey, and faith. You choose every day. Some situations and conditions are harder to break through, but if you listen to your body and mind and work with them rather than against them, you will be amazed by how far you can go. You create your own fate. No external fate exists, as it only exists in your mind. Your fate lies in your free will, the spirit within you, and the mission you call forth to be.

Milestones to Your Destiny

As you move into adulthood and midlife, you carry different versions of you. You carry the child that was you. You carry the adolescent that was you. You carry the young adult within you. Every one of them has a reason for being and a story to tell. Listen to them, learn from them, and accept all those versions of you. Love them, for they are merely stepping stones and milestones into your destiny. Danny G.

Aging Gracefully

Our bodies age and change over time. This change can be a blessing or a curse. The blessing is gaining wisdom, experience and memories as we age. The curse is resisting and fighting change. It’s not accepting aging. Self acceptance, embracing every season, and learning is key to aging gracefully with ease. Danny G.

The Aging Process

Inevitably, through experience we gain wisdom as we age. Though wrinkles fills our face, we can never replace wisdom, which is gathered from the journey of falls and detours. It’s a journey of trial and error with a destination and good intentions. When we live from this mindset, there is no end, simply lessons gained from our soul. Danny G.

Spiritual Maturity

Don’t condemn aging, and don’t accept decline. The ones who condemn aging are the ones not at peace with life. They’re the ones who age faster and leave their wisdom behind. The ones who are young at heart are the ones who renew their youth and wisdom. For the greatest gift of aging is wisdom and spiritual maturity. Danny G.

The Gift Of Aging

Never curse your age, for many do not get to see the wrinkles on their face. Many do not see the wisdom you grow into. And many do not see the trials and success that brought you through the journey of age. Therefore, bless aging and honor it, and know there’s a reason for every season, and there’s a reason for every destination. Danny G.

The Blessings Of Aging

Not accepting aging is not accepting the inevitable perpetuation of life. Life has many seasons, and every season has a purpose within, if you simply listen. Aging is inevitable but declining is optional. The best means of accepting aging is embracing the wisdom, peace of mind, and prosperity that comes with age. Danny G.

Open Arms

Aging can either be a blessing or a curse. Accept that your body and life is always changing, and evolving. Don’t fight the inevitable, embrace it fully with open arms and know that with it comes wisdom, faith and strength. With wisdom, faith and an awareness of your own power, you can conquer anything. Life has its seasons, so learn to embrace every season with open arms. Danny G.

Savor It

Moments pass, and years accumulate,

Into a world we once perceived.

Nevertheless, it’s all creation

As though an artist paints and moves the clay.

We stand still, in silence,

We can hear the music play,

The music plays in harmony

Of the present, past,

Smudges of paint

And some a masterpiece.

Some moments vanish,

But memories still remain,

As we contemplate

Those distant memories again.

Some brings joy,

And some sadness,

Always lessons and wisdom

Contained within.

Let’s sit here, appreciate

What it brought the journey within.

But let’s never forget

To savor it all,

And that includes the gift of today. Danny G.
