Your Greatest Power

Your only control and power is being your best where you are with what you have, and being grateful where you currently stand. That’s the only control you’ll ever have, through thoughts, words and behavior. The rest must be left to the universal forces to guide you and unleash its magic. Danny G.

Steadfast Unwavering Faith

The front step seems insurmountable, as I’m marching patiently and steadfastly in the face of the storm. The wind is cold in blizzard fog, and I cannot see the mountain top. I pause and declare my victory while waiting in appreciation for what lies ahead. I wait until the path appears as the next logical step. As the wind comes surging through, I allow it to guide me to my destination, while I steadily gaze at the forefront, with no fear, only steadfast unwavering faith. Danny G.

Appreciation the Answer

Why is gratitude and appreciation the answer? Because when you’re grateful and appreciative of your life, you’re in a positive frame of mind. When you’re in a positive frame of mind, you’re receptive to all the good that can come. Gratitude and appreciation only brings happiness, inner peace, and success, while pessimism only brings sadness and misery. When you’re appreciative of you, you’re only doing yourself a favor, and you don’t feel the exhaustion and sickness that pessimism brings. Danny G.

Joy Versus Ego

There are people who seek merely wealth, lust and attractiveness in a partner. There are people who seek primarily love, appreciation or loyalty in their significant other. One brings ego and the other brings joy. What’s sad is many choose the ego over the joy. Danny G.

Time Heals Everything

Life is an experience, some moments are great, some sad, and some we wish we can relive again. If we can simply see ourselves five years from now, we’d realize what we thought we would never accept and let go, we are now smiling in appreciation and gratitude. At that moment we realize time heals everything if we simply let it be. Danny G.

Compassionate Revenge

The compassionate revenge is saying, I moved on so should you. The compassionate revenge is saying I’m in a great place now, I’m happy, and so should you. The compassionate revenge is saying I wish you all this, and more, and even if you had more I would smile in appreciation and love. The compassionate revenge would say I wish you the best, and sincerely I hope you learned your lesson. Danny G.

Gratitude is Key

When I feel bored, stagnant and complacent in the latent days, I count my blessings one by one, to remember where I’ve been and to remember, today is one bold step from yesterday. I then realize gratitude and appreciation is key to happiness and a simple smile. Danny G.

Judging on the Inner Man

We analyze and judge people based on external and superficial matters that are irrelevant to who they are. We think we have someone figured out, yet we know nothing about their history, and reason for being. Let’s judge people on their inner self, not egotistical matters that doesn’t define who they are. You’re Forever In Our Hearts (In Loving Memory of Brady Dubeau)

It seems yesterday, you were as happy as can be,

Riding your bike, and pulling stunts all day long.

Life gave you a challenge, so great,

You questioned in disbelief,

And couldn’t understand why.

You were a fierce fighter,

Never wanting to give in,

When the battle was overwhelming

You fought and fought

To relieve the pain.

We’ll always remember,

The days you held on,

Simply for your zest of life.

And we’ll always remember,

The days you held on

All the tears you shed

When life was overwhelmingly sad.

Most importantly

You imparted memories

And love in our hearts,

And we’ll never forget

Nor regret your short journey,

Of simply being yourself.

You touched many lives,

And many tears are shed,

For the great man who left.

Farewell my brother,

Until we meet again

In another dimension

You’re forever in our hearts

And with us always.

The One Who Changed It All

There was a time when you depended on someone, a mentor of some sort, whom you relied on for everything. You went to him when you were in your darkest alleys, trying to find relief, out of mere frustrations and disarray. Everything he taught you made sense, and it resonated with your very core. Today, you’re on stable footing, but you still remember this very day. The day where you sought help out of mere confusion, and found relief. You still remember the man, as he was your own flesh and blood. Now you’re ok, you’ve got the tools, while you allow the current to sweep you away, and you remember with faith, appreciation, and astonishment, the one who changed it all on your darkest day.
