Contemplate your negative habits. Reflect on which habits are conducive to your health and happiness, and which habits are conducive to greater strife and lack. Let go of negative attachments, and embraced the new. Danny G.Â
Being Productive With Your Time
Our mind and body are constantly changing and evolving. Is your body the same as it was 5 years ago or 10 years ago? The question should be, how do we change our mind and body for our greatest good, happiness and success.
The only control we have is through thoughts, words and actions. Enough thoughts creates feelings and emotions. Enough words creates feelings and emotions. Behavior is enough thinking or speaking that results in action.
You can think yourself into exhaustion if you dwell on lack of energy or lack of enthusiasm. Or you can think of yourself as strong if you dwell on the infinite and limitless source that lives inside you. You can think yourself into sickness if you only dwell on your symptoms and pain. Or you can think yourself into health if you focus on faith, wisdom and love.
When you focus on faith, how much energy is left on fear? When you focus all your attention on faith, how much energy is left on feelings of lack? When you focus on wisdom, inspiration and enlightenment, are you more likely to make wise choices or poor choices?
Whatever you entertain in your mind, you project into your body and your every day choices. When you reflect on love, how much space is there for anger, bitterness and pessimism? It all depends on how much energy you focus and act on positive emotions rather than negative emotions.
I use these 3 emotions of faith, wisdom and love because they are so important to greater health, joy and success. Faith is the opposite of fear. It’s also the opposite of lack. It’s the opposite of pessimism. Wisdom is what allows us to make wise choices and put our faith into action. Love is what God is, and when we dwell on love rather than anger, bitterness and pessimism, we’re in alignment with the divine. Self love and loving others is God in action.
Symptoms only control us to the degree we allow them to. Failure only controls us to the degree we allow it to. It’s our reaction that defines us and the life that unfolds. If we focus all our mental energy on our symptoms and pain, we give the symptoms greater power. If we focus all our energy on failure, little energy is left for learning, growing and transformation.
You only have so much energy until you need to rest and rejuvenate your body. Use that time wisely, and you’ll have greater health, joy and success.
Wisdom Over Impulse
Acting on impulse is acting on anger, pessimism or bitterness. It’s the opposite of contemplation and reflection. It’s quick to feed the emotions, but it’s often quick the wrong way, and ends up causing heartache and trouble.
When you allow negative emotions to consume you, eventually they spill out in your behavior, words and impulses. Often they cause trouble later on or they create strife with your loved ones.
Our impulses or wisdom can either have negative consequences or benefits. The choice is up to us to listen to our quick impulses or to seek wisdom in spite of difficulties. Impulses often lacks wisdom and wisdom always leads to a greater life and future. Wisdom can be described as God, for whenever we seek God, wisdom is there.
Wisdom is the ideal pathway for your life. Wisdom creates health, success and happiness, for who knows better than wisdom, the ultimate divine and source. Seeking inward before believing misconceptions, is the path to enlightenment.
The key is to practice self control and discipline, for wisdom requires self control and self reliance. Seeking wisdom above the ego, and choosing long term gain over short time satisfaction is key to a greater life and future.
We can venture into all sorts of directions in our life, never getting anywhere, never creating success or contributing to the world. That can be described as making quick judgments and acting on impulses.
Everyone experiences failures or setbacks, however, if we combine wisdom with failure, we learn from our mistakes and move forward towards our dreams and desires. Often when we begin our journey, we act on impulse, and we quickly feed our ego.
Over time and often with age, we acquire wisdom because life causes us to contemplate and seek further insight. We can either move with this insight or we can wander in the desert our whole life.
Everyone wanders from time to time, however, don’t let that become your permanent home. Learn, remember and choose the path to enlightenment.
Seek Stillness and Listen
Feelings come and go as we’re emotional beings who are bound to care and love. Seeking to react differently to your emotions is key. Feel it, ponder, reflect, contemplate, and the answer will come as you quiet your mind, seek stillness and listen. Danny G.Â
Reflection and Contemplation
Spiritual maturity is pausing to think, before reacting. It’s reflecting, contemplating and knowing your inner thoughts affect your outer world. It’s knowing the simple act of reflection and contemplation rejuvenates the soul and brings you back to wellness. Danny G.Â
Faith and Optimism
When you’re living in survival mode and fear, your mind contemplates the worst case scenarios. When you’re living in faith and optimism, your mind focuses on your capabilities and possibilities. The power lies in your hands with whichever path you choose. Be productive with your thoughts and action steps, and allow God to conspire on your behalf. Danny G.
Contemplating the Truth
There will always be questions we choose to ignore, and sometimes it’s a good thing, and other times it’s not. It’s all about balance, living in the present while not forgetting there’s a future ahead.
There are those who live in fear never wanting to embark on unknown territory, and there are those who are always taking risks without any contemplation. Living in the present should not ignore future choices and obligations.
So many people act on impulse and forget about the consequences to their actions. They choose what feels good in the moment without giving it much attention. This results in poor choices and negative events and circumstances.
Seeking inward and wisdom should be contemplating those questions that will be beneficial for our future. Contemplating self care through spiritual rituals, diet, exercise, and sleep are examples of what you can do that will be beneficial for your mind, body and spirit.
Research has shown that meditation lowers blood pressure, lowers your pulse, and helps you have clarity of thought. Research on meditation also indicate that it lengthens telomeres, which reverses your biological age. Lengthening telomeres also indicates longer life spans.
And we all know stress has an effect on our mind and body. The opposite of stress is gratitude, appreciation, compassion, optimism and faith. Therefore, we can conclude that the more we focus on these positive emotions, the less stressed we feel.
Everything is an affirmation whether it’s negative or positive, and an excuse for negativity is also an affirmation. Ongoing stress can cause pessimism or negative thinking of every type. Every negative thought is a form of stress, and we all know that prolonged and ongoing stress affects the body and mind.
Investing time to remain in a grateful, optimistic and faithful mindset reduces or eliminates stress. It also has creative power for we all know inspiration and great ideas comes from being productive with our thoughts, and focusing on our desired outcome.
Refocusing the Void
Use this void to create anew. Use this void to create your inspiration. Use this void to refocus your energy and conquer. The void exists only for your contemplation, and imagination. When used productively, anything is possible, and anything is within your reach. Danny G.Â
Bright Colored Lenses
Contemplate your gifts and potential. Contemplate your future through your bright colored lenses. Contemplate the universe conspiring on your behalf. Retell the story through the eyes of source, and see it play back as your newly created reality. Danny G.
Let the Inspiration Lead You
Spend time reflecting and contemplating while seeking your intuition and wisdom. But when the inspiration calls you to move forward into the unknown, with uncertainty and doubt invading your mind, trust your source, take a leap, and know that he will provide, and cause you to triumph. Danny G.
