Fear Not In A Fearful World

How to not let the fear of others become your own

I want to first emphasize that I’m not against the government and health officials and the health and safety practices to avoid the spread of disease. However, looking around me I see fear everywhere and I wanted to share my insights and philosophies on what brings me peace of mind and security during these difficult times. How do we not become fearful in a fearful world and most importantly when it affects the entire planet and our loved ones?

I believe in following health and safety regulations and avoiding contamination by all means. The problem is our anxiety is skyrocketing from the chaos and diseases on this planet. I do believe there must be a strong focus on eliminating the spread, however, there’s a fine line between focusing on the solution or obsessing over the disease.

We’ve heard the many spiritual masters of our time say what you focus on, you perpetuate, so the more people focus on this matter with fear and dread rather than the solution, they’re perpetuating the problem.

It sounds easier said than done and for most it’s very difficult to do so, however practice and repetition is key. If someone can practice their skills and abilities enough to be a professional ball player or professional stock broker, one can practice not being fearful in a fearful or chaotic world.

If someone is mentally and spiritually strong, no matter what the adversity is, he should have the will and strength to overcome it. If someone is constantly stressed and he or she gets sick, is there much energy left to fight off the disease?

Take someone who is optimistic, and he has faith that he will overcome, the journey may not be easy but at least he’s investing his energy towards wellness. Whatever you focus on you perpetuate, so perpetuate the right things.

We only have so much energy during the day and if we focus all our energy on complaining, or our fears, then a little flu can appear much more painful than it really is. I don’t want to make light of the situation, I just want to empathize having inner peace in a fearful world is possible. Having peace despite the chaos is possible, and when you do have peace, you’re a much stronger influence to help others remain well or recover.

So my question to you is, what influence do you want to be, and what thoughts do you want to entertain?

Seeking Inward Before Anything Else

Healing means focusing primarily on healthy thoughts and emotions

I believe conventional medicine is important and beneficial, however, the problem lies when we put all our faith on an outside system, we lose our power. We have no control over external matters, and when we rely solely on the system, we neglect the most important healing practice, which is seeking inward.

Seeking inward means focusing on our inner guidance and wisdom. It’s seeking our spiritual journey above everything else, for when we are spiritually strong, we can tackle whatever comes our way.

Spiritual strength means we know we have the insight, inspiration, and wisdom we need to overcome. It’s knowing the universal force that resides inside all of us created the universe, and is the universe, so there’s no task too difficult to overcome with this source.

It’s also knowing whatever strength we need is through declaring it into being, and knowing our power. Acknowledging we are spiritual beings is the first part, the second part is knowing how to use our power to our advantage.

It’s being aware of our source and knowing how to apply its laws. Think about what you want, speak about it, and then when the inspiration calls you, take the step. Create your own inspiration for what you desire. Create your own strength when you’re lacking. Focus on it so much that it becomes your reality and it resonates with the core of your being. Declare what’s rightfully yours. You can talk your way into a sour mood or anxiety, so you can talk your way into feeling strong, healthy, and vibrant.

When the step presents itself as a baby step or a leap, if you feel peace about it, move forward. I believe God speaks to us through a feeling of ease or uneasiness. If you feel that uneasiness in your gut that will not leave, it usually means it’s not the ideal path or you’re simply not ready.

Find that feeling of peace, that is essentially who we are through the divine source we are, then move forward knowing the ultimate provider is always within you, guiding you, and conspiring on your behalf.

Experience As the Greatest Teacher

Experience combined with wisdom and an open mind is the greatest teacher, for that epiphany couldn’t have happened without the experience that brought you there. You had to have a spiritual awakening to know who you truly are, your depth and your reason for being. You had to have an epiphany to know your origin and the source that created you and is in you. The experience is never an accident, and if you listen to the experience and what it taught you, you would realize everything is orchestrated in divine order and timing.

Get beyond the experience by seeking inward to know its purpose for being. For when you seek within and back away, you can see the experience with a new perspective. New perspectives create a new reality.

Experience can either pull us back or move us forward. It all depends on our reaction to the experience, and if we choose to seek inward. Seeking inward means seeing the experience as the God or Goddess within you would see it. It’s realizing our higher self is always seeking growth, and when we embrace that, growth is inevitable.

There is a God or Goddess inside you at all time wanting you to seek it, for it knows the ideal pathway for your life. This God or Goddess knows how to react to new experiences and challenges. It knows how to overcome and conquer, and it knows how to reach the mountain top. This God or Goddess can do anything you want, you just have to be in alignment with it.

Being in alignment with it means you think like it, you speak like it, and you follow its inspired action steps. The only control you have is through thought, word, and action, and when you allow the divine to guide your every thought, word, and action, anything is possible.

You probably heard the scripture “with God, all things are possible.” Realize this God lives inside you at all times providing you with the insight, inspiration, and wisdom you need for your unique journey, and experience.

Recognize your depth, your strength, your wisdom through the God or Goddess you are, and don’t ever shrink back. Realize nothing is too difficult for the GREAT I AM!

The State Of Receivership

Allowing and receiving is being in a state of receivership. It’s knowing the desire is already yours, as you hold the vision in your mind and don’t waver. The only control we’ll ever have is through thought, word, and action. When these 3 things are in alignment with your desire, you are a match to whatever it is you’re attracting.

Manifestation means you feel the emotions you will feel, when you hold it in the palm of your hands. It means you know if one person did it, so can you, or you can be the first one to achieve what was once deemed impossible. The ones who achieve the impossible say I don’t need proof, I can be the living example of breaking the limitations and thriving. I can serve as a testimony for anyone who needs that boost of faith and confirmation.

We all come from the same spirit that creates worlds, so don’t underestimate yourself and what you’re capable of doing from the divine. We are all created from the divine, and there is a God or Goddess within everyone. When we realize this, we unleash our inner gifts for ourselves and the world.

Recognizing the God or Goddess within us is saying we have the spirit to conquer anything, to achieve anything, and to be anything we desire. Recognizing this spirit is the ultimate state of receivership. It’s knowing when you do the mental work, you’re in the process of creation. It’s knowing when you feel the emotions of joy, gratitude, and love, you’re manifesting the essence of your thoughts and emotions. It’s knowing when you’re imagining, you’re in the process of creation and transformation.

You can be in the process of a negative creation or positive creation, so invest time being productive with your thoughts, your inner dialogue, and the words you speak. Follow the inspiration, and take the action steps.

The pen is in your hands, know your power, and know with unwavering faith, you can reshape your destiny. Remember, the source remains with your every thought, word and action, so do your part and allow the universe to unleash its magic.

The Spiritual Evolution

You’re a spiritual being on a spiritual journey

You have two beings within you at all times. One being is your inner being, or you can call it a soul, or spirit. The other being is the physical body that exists within the time space reality. Both are constantly affected by one another.

Whenever you spend more time inward, you tap in to the infinite intelligence or the God or Goddess inside you. You tap into this infinite intelligence by meditating, practicing mindfulness, or any type of spiritual practice that allows you to connect to the divine.

Anything that quiets the mind is beneficial to your mind and body, because when you quiet your mind, you let go of distractions that prevent you from having clarity of thought. When you have clarity of thought, you can listen to your inner guidance and wisdom.

Stress is created by an overactive mind, in which you’re obsessing over a number of stressors. You’re either stressing about the past or in most cases the future. When you stop fighting the thought, you’re in the present moment and you’re able to access your higher consciousness. When you access your higher consciousness, you feel true joy, gratitude and love, because accessing your higher consciousness means connecting to the divine. The divine is joy, gratitude, love and all the good in the world. When you operate out of the divine, you’re receptive to the insights from your soul, and the ego vanishes.

What does ego mean? The origin of the acronym means “edging God out.” When you act from your soul, being right is irrelevant because all you want to seek is love. When you act from your soul, fear vanishes because you have faith that can move worlds. When you act from your soul you’re no longer desperate for your desires, because you feel as though they already manifested or you feel such appreciation that the desire is irrelevant.

That’s where true freedom lies, with faith and love that cannot be shaken. This is the divinity that you are, a shell that has the most powerful energy inside you, which is God.

Creating With the Universe (Blog Article)

Creating for Ourselves and Humanity

I believe we are all creators, and we are creating ourselves anew every day. We have control through three things, which are thoughts, words, and actions. Think about something long enough; you create its very existence. Can you imagine a world where humanity would get the opposite of what we think about all the time? How about a world where everything was just random, and it was merely evolution? What control do you have with these beliefs?

How does someone overcome his overwhelming challenges when he says it is out of his control and power? If he tried everything through his atheist perspective and still cannot find a solution, how will his life unfold? By chance? What if his own capabilities are not enough at present? What will he rely on?

What kind of universe would be created by chance? It all boils down to faith. If I were to tell you healing from paralysis is possible, what would you say? Many would say they need proof, but a few would say they can set the example as the many who healed from paralysis.

If I were to tell you it is possible to live to 150 years old, would you believe it, or do you need proof? Records may say 122 years is the oldest a person has lived; you do not have the proof yet for 150 years, making you doubt and lack faith. If I were to tell you it is possible to be in vibrant health even after 100 years old, would you need proof? Can you set the example?

What creates aging, and what wears your body out? Primarily stress, fear, pessimism, bitterness, and poor lifestyle choices such as diet, exercise, and sleep. I am sure our environment has an effect, but only to the degree we let it. It is our reaction that defines everything, including the unfolding of our lives. If your environment causes you to give in to stress, fear, pessimism, bitterness, and poor lifestyle choices, your environment affects you. However, if you say, I am not my environment, and I can overcome my environment, you’re in the process of transformation. You are in the process of transformation by choosing to live in peace, optimism, gratitude, joy, faith, and love.

I chose these four emotions of stress, fear, pessimism, and bitterness as the culprit to aging because they are at the root of every negative emotion. Whenever you are feeling negative, it usually falls into one of these four emotions. You may say grief, but grief is a normal emotion we all feel. If we become bitter over time because of our grief, it takes a toll on our health. You may say anger, but anger is a normal emotion that we all feel, and it only affects our health if we give in to bitterness, rage or being overwhelmed, which is another form of stress. You may say genetics has an effect, but only to the degree we let it. We can agree that genetics does not determine everything, as we have seen it repeatedly with biological twins where one is healthy and the other has many health issues. We can also agree that genetics does not determine longevity, persistence, and faith.

If we can agree that negative emotion causes aging and decline, we can agree that positive emotion would create the opposite. It’s clear you have more energy when you’re in a positive frame of mind. You believe more in possibilities, and you are willing to act on possibilities if you act in faith. You are willing to take more positive steps for greater health if you live in faith. If you do not believe life will get better, will you take those steps to greater health or fulfilling your dreams? Will you speak about it, or would you act on inspiration?

Everything stems from thoughts such as insight, inspiration, enlightenment, wisdom, and open-mindedness. This results in taking action to create health and to achieve your every desire. Think of a universe where the source responds to faith, optimism, and gratitude. We can say the law works in our favor because regardless, it will bring joy.

Being in a consistent state of joy increases our energy, stamina, and our will to fight to achieve our every desire. If one can be at peace despite the chaos and their most pressing challenges, then the adversity is in their control and power. This is where true freedom lies, realizing our control and power through life’s endeavors.

Thought is ultimate creation, for, without it, we cannot create. Every idea stems first from thought. Words are just thoughts spoken out loud, but thoughts hold the essential meaning. How do we contradict thought in its purest form? Words are often contradicted, mistranslated, or modified. Often, we say something, and someone thinks differently about the same words we spoke. Or we say something and afterwards, realize it is not exactly the message we wanted to convey. Words hold misconceptions and preconceptions, and therefore I say listen to the meaning of the words, not merely words.

Actions are thoughts, and words come alive. When we think about it and speak about it long enough, we act. Action is the enjoyment of where we put our energy and attention, or sometimes the stress associated with the opposite of what we want. It is essentially our creation in physicality.

So many times, when we face our challenges that manifest, we do not see a means of escape, and we panic. Or by our consistent attention to the lack or opposite of what we want, we perpetuate the unfolding of the same reality. It is easier to fix the problem when it is not too overwhelming or not consuming so much energy.

Utilizing these laws for our benefit means focusing our energy on health, happiness, and success. We must convince ourselves that health, happiness, and success are ours through the source, the ultimate provider.

A loving father would not take away anything that brings joy through his unconditional love. A loving father would want nothing less for us than to be truly fulfilled. Think about the laws of the universe for a moment. Can you imagine a life where everything is just random or evolution?

Evolution says everything happens by chance. Everything happening by chance is out of our control. Would a creator say, I created this universe for you, and you have no control over the unfolding of humanity? That seems to underestimate where we are as humanity and the world and everything we have achieved since its creation.

The most important element is realizing our role in our spiritual journey and the evolution of humanity. It all starts with your thoughts, words, and actions. Remember, we are always creating, whether subconsciously or consciously. The real gift is recognizing that we are deliberate creators, and the power lies through the divinity that we are.

The Work is Within (Blog Article)

There are many different causes for mental health challenges, but at the root of almost every mental illness is a lack of self control. When we don’t feel in control, we indulge in addictive behaviors, not only substance abuse but our behavior and emotions as well. We can be addicted to our emotions if we cannot stop them. An addiction can be described as anything that you feel has control and power over you. If I was to say all day long, this disease has control over me, what would I create, and what would I act on? It’s our thoughts that move us to action. If I was to say all day long, I want to eat a cheese burger, what would happen eventually?

This feeling of being out of control stems from a long perpetuating set of beliefs that have in many cases been lingering for a long time. What we believe we expect at one point or another. What is OCD, other than an overactive mind focused and obsessing over a particular situation, or event?

Overcoming your mental health challenges is about discipline and retraining your mind into self empowerment. It’s remembering you created these thoughts from your misconceptions, environment, or others’ opinions. Saying it’s merely a chemical imbalance is stating that’s it’s something outside of you creating the disorder. When we leave it to an outside source, we have no control, and we’re destined to a fate out of our control. The only control we’ll ever have is through our thoughts, words and actions. Recovering is about creating a new set of beliefs, and expectations. What creates anxiety other than your expectation of fears about your future?

One of the best means of eliminating or reducing your anxiety is to be still. What is the opposite of anxiety or an overactive mind? Quieting your mind. Relaxation, mindfulness or meditation are a few examples and there are many more. The more you apply relaxation practices, and quiet your mind, the more you train your mind to be in a space of tranquility. Setting a time for a relaxation technique such as meditation can retrain your mind. Consistency is key. When we stop the practice, often we revert back to old ways of thinking, because our mind needs persistence and discipline to be retrained. Nevertheless, you’ve been programming your mind for so long, sometimes, it takes time to see progress.

What is anxiety, depression or manic depression other than a belief you cannot control or manage the illness? If it was controlled or managed, would you always be having reoccurrences? There are physiological reasons for it, and biological reasons as well. However, the only control we have is our reaction to the illness, and the action is expressed through thought, word, and behavior.

Mental illness doesn’t have to be a reoccurring theme in your life. You can heal and you can manage your health challenges, and not allow the illness to control you. Recovery requires a persistent determination to reprogram your mind into self empowerment and discipline. Practice being at peace with life, practice being optimistic, and practice the art of letting do. Set the course, speak to your challenge saying you’re nothing but a belief or expectation, and I can change you now.

There’s a time to focus on the solution but there’s also a time to focus your energy in another positive direction. Give yourself a break every once in a while. Be your source of inspiration. Find things you’re passionate about so you will stop focusing so much on your illness, and you’ll feel a greater purpose as you discover your dreams and goals. Sometimes a fun or uplifting distraction is the best way to focus on a new chapter, and create a new life for you. In doing so, you’re focusing on something more productive than your addictive behaviors and emotions. You’ll discover a balance of discipline and distraction from your problems is the means of recovering one step at a time.

Healing is always occurring, as your body is constantly changing. Allow it to change gracefully, and allow your soul to discover the wisdom that comes with age. Embrace the journey, and appreciate the moments of change. Allow yourself to break free from the cage of confinement, and allow yourself yourself to break free from the cage of powerlessness, pessimism, and bitterness. Mental illness doesn’t have to reoccur throughout a lifetime, and even if it does at times, you can practice and retrain your mind into self empowerment and self discipline.

Practice, repetition, and balance is key to recovery and greater peace of mind. You’ll discover the best means of letting go, and retraining your mind, is focusing on your potential, and not your lack of self control.

Accept and Seek Within (Blog Article)

Accepting humanity and the world as an evolution in progress is key to stop fighting against the inevitable, and being at peace with life. The world is trial and error with some fallbacks, some breakthroughs. Life is failure, success, and at times there are falls, detours and delays that are unavoidable.

Fighting against this simple notion is fighting against life, and some fight so hard they want their escape. Fighting burns energy, and if you persist down this path long enough you burn out. When there’s enough pressure on the chain, one of the links breaks which we call disease, a mind that is not at ease.

Instead, imagine investing your energy to what’s beneficial to your mental health. Imagine investing your energy to regain your vitality, clarity, and appreciation. Imagine investing your energy to your personal growth and purpose.

Accepting life’s challenges including being at peace with yourself is inner peace. When you have inner peace, life emanates inner peace wherever you go, and when you’re uneasy, life emanates uneasiness wherever you go. The key is to practice the art of thinking to achieve inner peace, happiness, and faith. When you master this, darkness cannot overtake you, and if it does, you know your way back through the same process of aligned thinking.

When you’re solid in what brings inner peace and happiness, if you get out of balance you can always find your way back. You find your way back by focusing on your innate ability to overcome and thrive. Realize if one person did it, so can you since we’re all made up from the same energy that creates worlds. Your only problem is focusing on everything you’re not, and not recognizing the source within you. Realize the infinite intelligence is always within you, guiding you to wisdom, love and growth.

Find a strategy that works for you as there are all kinds of relaxation techniques and philosophies that bring peace of mind and healing. The opposite of a mind at peace is fear. Fear can be described as being scared of the unknown. You’re scared of the future or the past repeating itself, or you don’t believe you can be happy, at peace or overcome your challenges.

Consider that life is the unknown. Every day is a new creation, and you’re never sure how it will end. When you constantly fear the unknown, over time the fear gets stronger and it builds up. If you don’t change the course, eventually one of the links breaks.

Fear is creating all types of worst case scenarios when you can be imagining all you desire to be, do and have. When you trust the process of life and that the universe has everything you need to overcome and thrive, fear dissipates. When you recognize your journey inward, you gain your ultimate power. You know seeking within and choosing your reaction defines you and the unfolding of your life.

When you allow external factors to choose for you, you feel vulnerable because the only control you have is your thoughts and reactions. If you allow external factors to choose for you, you will be tossed and turned like the waves of the sea.

You cannot control the world, others, or even your environment at times. Stop fighting the inevitable and seek yourself. Accepting change is key to recovery. Every journey is unique, and we all have our share and gifts to help humanity. By changing one life, you change many lives, because we’re all interconnected.

Know your role in the evolution of your journey, and know your role in the evolution of humanity. You can spark change in your own unique way. You need to accept and listen to your intuition.

Set Your Own Standard (Blog Article)

Your Best is Good Enough

So many times we have a standard in our mind of how we are to be, or what we are to do, and when we don’t measure up, we sabotage ourselves through guilt, condemnation, and bitterness. We create our own standards of how to live, and succeed, but everybody has their own standards. The question remains which is the right path? We all have our own journey, and obstacles, so the standard should be following authenticity and our destiny.

The most important element is being the best we can be through thought, word, and deed. That’s the only control we’ll ever have, and the only control we’re given in this reality through the divinity we are.

Our intentions and motives are stuck on the image we’ve projected through domestication. It’s what we learned throughout the years of how we are to be. Some works for our benefit, and some hinders us. If it’s empowering, inspiring, or it gives us joy, that’s the right standard for us. If we feel guilt, condemnation and bitterness, we are not operating under the right motives. If you’re full of negative emotion, what good can you do? Can you uplift? Can you inspire? Can you motivate? These negative emotions only zaps our energy and strength.

All wisdom comes from a state of peace, love, joy, and whatever emotion contradicts this, is not of God. Everyone on this planet is struggling with something, and often it’s these challenges which stretch our boundaries and limitations. If life is perfect, we are perfect, and we fulfilled our every dream, there’s nothing else to work towards, and achieve. Sometimes the thorn is what stretches our faith unto uncharted territory into the unknown. It’s what allows us to keep seeking growth, and success.

If the thorn aggravates you to a point where you sink into a pit where escape seems impossible, then you’re allowing the thorn to hold you back. If you feel at peace despite the thorn, while no longer allowing it to cause aggravation, you allow it to make you stronger, and full of faith.

Let the thorn do what’s it’s supposed to do if you cannot find a means of letting it go yet. In time when the work is fulfilled, you’ll begin to ignore it, then it loses its power, and strength. You’ll set a new standard for yourself with new dreams where the thorn loses its hold on you.

That’s when you realize what true freedom is and that’s when you realize you are the master of the ship destined to create your own mission and happiness.

Manifesting Your Desires

What blocks your desires other than your beliefs and expectations they cannot be achieved? Many will focus on all the worst case scenarios and create the essence of their thoughts and emotions. The more negative emotion you give, the more power you give to a negative outcome.

On the contrary, what happens when someone really wants to achieve a dream? He focuses on it, and if he’s wise he’ll take action steps to his dreams. He’ll speak as if it’s already happened and he’ll take whatever steps he needs to get there, because he believes in the dream.

If someone doesn’t believe in the dream or doesn’t make an effort to believe, will he plan for it and take action steps to achieve it? At one point there has to be a belief, or else he won’t pursue it or he’ll just give up.

Sometimes you have to fake it until you make it, and convince yourself it’s attainable. Convince yourself that the divine dwells inside you, that you’re worthy, and God only wants the very best for you. Convince yourself of all the great minds that ever existed and what they accomplished. What do they have that you don’t? They all originated from the divine. They have a body, mind and soul like you. The only difference is they mastered their mind, they mastered their emotions, and they had unwavering faith it could be done. They persisted and persevered to their vision.

However, keep in mind, there’s a fine line between wanting, believing and desperation. Desperation says if I don’t get this thing I want, I will be unhappy. With this frame of mind, you will be tossed around every time a desire isn’t fulfilled and sooner or later you’ll give up, stop believing, or become bitter.

The best means of achieving your desires is to be at peace with the moment, to be satisfied with what you currently have, and to be grateful where you currently stand. Be at peace regardless of the outcome, but also focus on your desires as if they were already achieved. When you focus on your desires as if they’re already achieved, there is no separation between the fulfillment of your desire and how you feel. That’s when you become a match to whatever it is you want.

Would it make sense to think negative all day and get the best that life has to offer? Would it make sense to not care about life and make no effort and get everything you desire? We can say the law works in your favor because regardless of the outcome, you’ll remain happy and at peace with life. In essence life is fair, and exactly the way it’s supposed to be. Repeat that and let it become the essence of your beliefs and expectations.
