Despair Made Me Stronger (Poem)

My deepest moments of despair,

Brought about my strength,

And perseverance and faith.

The moments I so wanted an escape,

Were the moments I prayed and praised

Despite the heartache.

The moments of despair

Reconciled me into appreciation.

It’s what pushed me to be grateful,

Despite the trash in my back pack.

This persistent wave of despair and depression,

Would knock me down

Aggressively without warning.

A constant cloud,

That would follow me

Just waiting to be poured on.

It’s my stiff upper lip,

My determination,

That pulled me through,

Despite my carry-on loaded with scrap.

Today I thank my despair,

Because in the end

It made me stronger,

Persistent,

And aggressively bold,

To not give in

Until my promise is fulfilled,

And I’m still standing,

Like a palm tree,

That bends, but never falls.

The Promise (Poem)

He looked into her dying eyes,

And saw the dreadful anguish

In her eyes, at 86,

While death is staring face to face.

She said why, oh why?

Why does it have to be this way?

What’s the point of all of this?

In a state of disarray,

From watching his loved one

Passing away.

He then promised himself,

On that very day,

He would never ask that question

On his dying day,

And he would live life to the fullest,

Until his very last day,

So the questions

Would be irrelevant,

On that same day.

Follow Your Intuition Don’t Conform

How did anyone do anything great? By listening to their peers, conforming to everybody’s expectations, and accepting their environment as their only hope? Many of us are told to face reality and follow the pact. We’re told to do whatever is considered normal or expected, given the circumstances. There’s nothing for you to do other than the impositions you create yourself. Be yourself, create the life you want, and follow your intuition but don’t conform to everybody’s expectations. Trust Without Reason (Poem)

He asked his father,

What can I do?

It feels like check mate,

I’ve tried everything,

I feel as though,

The weight on my shoulders

Is crippling me now.

Do I lay down?

And let the current sweep me away?

And allow the weight of the tide

To pull me down?

He said to his son,

What is unwavering faith and boldness

And persevering despite doubt?

The son replied I don’t know.

His father replied,

It’s to not know,

And still believe, despite reason.

It’s to say, I don’t understand,

But father I know you have a way,

And I won’t stop nagging,

Until my promise is fulfilled,

And my mission is complete.

True Meaning of Courage (Poem)

The most courageous of them all

Is the one

Who declares his faith,

Despite appearance

Contradicting his faith.

The one who perseveres,

Despite reality pushing him down.

He seeks compassion,

Despite the cruelty

Imprinted in the world.

The most courageous of them all,

Is the one who declares I can,

Despite inferiority sneaking up.

The one who never gave in,

Or forgot who he was

And where he came from.

The most courageous one, is the one

Who got up,

Despite the pile of brick on his back.

He remained steadfast,

Despite the world shaking him up.

He seeks enlightenment,

Despite the darkness in the world.

He’s the enlightened one,

Who speaks it into being,

Then watches the universe

 Manifest it into being.

Always a victor,

And never underestimating

His own power.

Breaking Free From the Spider’s Web (Poem)

Stuck in a spider’s web,

Surrounded by the sticky silk.

Though I push and strain away,

The sticky silk forcibly remains.

The world is in my forefront view.

Behind remains the sticky silk,

My arms and legs stuck on it.

Another pull, another strain,

I know the creator will come through,

Like always.

As I seek myself through his loving eyes,

There’s nothing I cannot do,

From this dwelling place of divine.

There’s always the forefront view,

And the next step will land me there,

Next to him,

To another world free from silk,

The enemies and monsters

Remain in the rear view web.

As I break free of the sticky web,

And pull through to the front again,

What was once a fear,

Is now a gift,

As I dwell,

With the monsters in my bed.

Fearless and laughing,

At the horror I gave them.

Today the price seems fair,

To discover myself

Through the despicable web.

Sometimes you lose yourself,

To find yourself once again.

An unending journey,

To fine tune our gifts.

Until our mission is complete,

And our destiny fulfilled.

Patience Where Wisdom lies (Poem)

Patience.

As it remains and escapes,

Through the process of trial and error,

Where wisdom lies.

An underestimating emotion,

We cannot stand.

Though uneasy at first,

Inner peace lies.

Patience.

Being steadfast and firm,

Though contradictions spies,

In a world of its own,

Of wisdom and lies.

Patience.

Though uneasy and flat,

Indecisive and black,

Contemplating time and elation,

Like a fiery trial.

Patience.

Though treacherous at first,

If we simply pull through,

Wisdom lies.

Everyone Has A Story

Everyone has a reason for who they are today, as we all have a story that brought us to this present moment. The good and the bad shapes us into the person we are meant to become. Everything works together for our good as the triumph and adversities mold us into the essence of who we are and who we are to become. Danny G.

Miracles and Faith

For every situation despite the circumstances, there is always a possibility for a miracle. The situation can turn out for good or bad depending on our perspective. The only time it can turn into something good is by changing our lenses. It’s by believing in miracles and knowing faith can overcome all odds.

Without a belief in miracles or faith, we can’t accept and allow them to manifest despite its good chances and probability. Our mind cannot conjure a solution nor can we allow a solution if our mind is focused only on the problem, and all the reasons for its failure.

Neither would we notice the solution if it would appear, and neither would we take the opportunity to act on the solution, if we’re focused only on the problem. Every opportunity or challenge has the potential to change in our favour, or it has the potential to create the worst case scenario, as it’s our thinking that directs its course.

The only common attribute in people who experience miracles is their belief in the possibility or probability of miracles. It’s even more powerful when we say I know for certain I will get my miracle, even if the facts tell us otherwise.

At times, everything and everyone points us towards being logical and factual, despite the many who prevailed. We have all the evidence in front of us that tell us miracles happen, and we have all the evidence in front of us saying faith can conquer anything. Yet we need to be factual or logical to understand a concept, so we ask ourselves too many questions, which works to our disadvantage.

How many things in this world are not factual or logical? Is science the only factor in determining an outcome? We all know science and evolution has many question marks and they don’t have all the answers.

There’s no scientific proof that we have an invisible force that created the universe and that’s causing it to expand furthermore. There’s no scientific proof that God created you and he lives inside you. Ask yourself, if he created you, wouldn’t he know the solution? If he lives inside you, then you’re aware you have the power that created the universe inside you, and therefore, you know you can prevail.

We must be persistent in believing in miracles and faith for everything will point us towards reality which says many people never see them through. The only reason they don’t see them through is because they denied the existence of miracles or they gave up along the trail.

When we say miracles happen every day, and faith can overcome all odds, we allow what seemed impossible at first to turn into possibility or probability. In time, miracles and faith can turn into certainty, and when it does, nothing can stop its course.

Create Your Own Label

If a homeless man was to teach you about love or faith when you felt completely alone and fearful, would he not be considered a teacher to you? Would you obliterate his words because he is a homeless man? Would you believe a world-renowned guru more than the homeless man even if his words were exactly the same as the guru? Often times we don’t take a person seriously because of his status or appearance, yet if someone had a suit and tie and he was recognized, we’d give him more credibility.

We don’t need a position of prestige to be assigned the label of a teacher or saviour. An individual teaches because he has an insightful message to share with others. An individual is a saviour if he saves someone from destruction or death, not because some outside source assigned him the label.

Does God’s spirit only dwell in the masters of this planet, or does he dwell in all his people? If God lives in all of us, then we can do great things such as the world’s greatest teachers. Jesus said in the scripture that with faith we would be able to do great things as he has done. That means we’re not limited by status, or a label.

Everyone who is spiritual or religious would say it’s the spirit of God which allows our heart to beat. If God allows our heart to beat, we know we would die if his spirit would leave us, therefore, we know he lives in us indefinitely.

We’ve all heard the Christian saying, I’m so filled with the holy spirit. Can’t we all access this holy spirit if we’re all made of the same stuff that creates worlds? The only limit is our thinking.

Being filled with the holy spirit only means being connected to our soul, and God. We connect to our soul by focusing on love which is God. We can’t help but to lead and teach by the clarity of our example, because who we truly are is meant to uplift.

How can we not teach something we are genuinely living ourselves? We don’t need labels to teach love or faith. We don’t need the label of a world-renowned guru to help others and humanity? Some people can hear the world’s famous Guru and not relate, but they can hear what a homeless man has to say, and be forever changed and enlightened.

Do we need a source outside of ourselves giving us a label, or can we create our own label and help others in which ever way we choose?
