Fear Not In A Fearful World

How to not let the fear of others become your own

I want to first emphasize that I’m not against the government and health officials and the health and safety practices to avoid the spread of disease. However, looking around me I see fear everywhere and I wanted to share my insights and philosophies on what brings me peace of mind and security during these difficult times. How do we not become fearful in a fearful world and most importantly when it affects the entire planet and our loved ones?

I believe in following health and safety regulations and avoiding contamination by all means. The problem is our anxiety is skyrocketing from the chaos and diseases on this planet. I do believe there must be a strong focus on eliminating the spread, however, there’s a fine line between focusing on the solution or obsessing over the disease.

We’ve heard the many spiritual masters of our time say what you focus on, you perpetuate, so the more people focus on this matter with fear and dread rather than the solution, they’re perpetuating the problem.

It sounds easier said than done and for most it’s very difficult to do so, however practice and repetition is key. If someone can practice their skills and abilities enough to be a professional ball player or professional stock broker, one can practice not being fearful in a fearful or chaotic world.

If someone is mentally and spiritually strong, no matter what the adversity is, he should have the will and strength to overcome it. If someone is constantly stressed and he or she gets sick, is there much energy left to fight off the disease?

Take someone who is optimistic, and he has faith that he will overcome, the journey may not be easy but at least he’s investing his energy towards wellness. Whatever you focus on you perpetuate, so perpetuate the right things.

We only have so much energy during the day and if we focus all our energy on complaining, or our fears, then a little flu can appear much more painful than it really is. I don’t want to make light of the situation, I just want to empathize having inner peace in a fearful world is possible. Having peace despite the chaos is possible, and when you do have peace, you’re a much stronger influence to help others remain well or recover.

So my question to you is, what influence do you want to be, and what thoughts do you want to entertain?

The Shield

I create my own shield by having unwavering faith, and courage. I create my own shield by not doubting or giving in to fear. I create my own shield by knowing the source within me, is always guiding me, protecting me, and conspiring on my behalf. Danny G.

Having Courage and Faith

What is fear but a long perpetuating set of beliefs and expectations? What is fear but a sensation in your body? What is fear other than acting on doubt and uncertainty? Next time fear comes knocking at your door, have the courage and faith to declare your strength and resilience. Have the faith to stand as the palm tree that bends but never falls. It’s sturdy enough to withstand the strong winds and thrive. Danny G.

Prayers of Faith

When you look at the adversity that once petrified you, and you smile at your possibilities, and capabilities, you know you achieved a new state of awareness. When you achieve this state of awareness, challenges become stepping stones for a brighter outcome, and challenges become trivial to your own power. You hold the obstacle in the palm of your hand and say with God, all things are possible, and prayers of faith conquers all. Danny G.

Relying on Source

We crave the unknown because outside the mundane it feels exciting, new and intriguing. But once in the unknown, at times we bow down to uncertainty, doubt and fear. If we can be at peace in the unknown, despite the world pressing down on us, or trying to pull us one way, we can be at peace indefinitely with anything, and we would rely on ourselves, our source, and our greatest power. Danny G.

Focusing on the Brighter Outcome

If you truly believed in the power of your thoughts, words and emotions, would you waste your time focusing on the worst case scenario? Or would you spend time focusing on the solution to your problems, and the greatness that lies before you? You can invest time for lack, or the greatness within you. Falling from time to time is inevitable, but not getting back up is ignorance. Be the phoenix you were created and born to be. Danny G.

Your Journey to Success

At times fear and despair can blossom into something beautiful, if you simply stop fighting the storm and embrace the new. Embracing the new means letting your thoughts be, not condemning them or finding fault, but realizing it’s just a part of your journey to success. Embracing means being who you truly are and being the best you. Your only control is being the best version of you, so stop fighting, and allow the divine to work in your life and orchestrate it all for you, and humanity. Danny G.

Simply Listen

Everything in the universe has a purpose if you simply listen. Listen to your inner voice and cut out all distractions from external sources. The divine dwells inside you at all times, so don’t be afraid, call to him in your darkest hours, and he will intervene and cause you to overcome. Danny G.

Essentially Who You Are

There are two voices inside your mind vying for your attention at all times. One speaks of truth, freedom, joy, peace, love, and all the good in the universe. The other speaks of pessimism, bitterness, fear and anything that contradicts the source within you. Which voice do you want to listen to, and which voice is essentially who you truly are? Danny G.

The Dream We Create

Everything is a dream. There is the waking dream which we call this physical plane, and there is the dreamy state which we call slumber or sleep. The universe dreams a dream, and every human being dreams a dream. Every species has their own waking dream. Over time we get overly consumed with misconceptions and preconceived notions we gathered from others along our physical trail. We get overly consumed with humanity’s dream, the dream of fear, pessimism and bitterness. We get overly consumed with the chaos or the havoc of the world. Then not knowingly, we create this reality, and forget. Every moment is a new opportunity to create a new dream, a dream that is aligned with our source and soul. Don’t get so wrapped up in the old dream that you forget you can always create another one. And don’t get so wrapped up in the old dream that you forget you’re always in control, and the power lies in you to create anew every single day. Danny G.
