Thought for Today

The goal shouldn’t be to always remember, but to remember as often as possible. The goal shouldn’t be to never feel grief, but to feel love and appreciation as often as you can. The goal shouldn’t be to seek perfection, but to be the best version of yourself where you are, with what you have. Life is about evolution, expansion, and personal transformation. With that comes new experiences, events, and circumstances that require growth and wisdom. Life is not a check mark to be checked off your list; it’s a journey through time and space as you overcome your adversities and embrace the mission you are called forth to be.

Thought for Today

Grief is completely normal. Don’t suppress it, for many people who suppress it end up self medicating or becoming ill. Feel the emotions of grief, let it out, replace it with joyful memories, but let it last for a season, not a lifetime. The grief may come back at times, but if you’re depressed and in despair for years, you let the season last too long. Your loved ones who passed on would say, it’s been too long, now get back up, you have a life to live and happiness lies ahead. Danny G.

Always Ready

Pain, adversities and grief are inevitable. By confronting it with optimism, faith and compassion, you’re becoming stronger and wiser. Every time you take personal time for your yourself, you grow stronger. Every time you are optimistic instead of pessimistic, you’re gaining greater wisdom. Every time you choose faith instead of fear, you replenish your soul. Every time you choose compassion instead of bitterness, you choose to follow the divinity within you, always ready to tackle the next hurdle and triumph. Danny G.

Anchor Yourself

When grief grapples you to the ground, anchor yourself by declaring you are strong, you are steadfast and you are persistent. Anchor yourself by reminding yourself this is a transition, and when you have your transition, you will be together again. Danny G.

Despite It All

This moment of sadness or grief doesn’t define you. It’s merely your emotions on this very moment. Every moment is impermanent. Don’t allow this moment to define you. Be a leader, be a motivator, be the inspiration who kept going despite it all. Danny G.

Accept Release and Remember

The pain exists because of your compassion. The grief exists because of your empathy. Your memories remain because of what you learned throughout this life. Your memories don’t fade, but your love remains. Accept, release and remember what this life taught you from the depth of your soul. Danny G.

It’s Never Indefinite

Give yourself a breath every once in a while. It’s ok to be still and ponder in the wilderness. It’s ok to feel sad at times beyond reason. It’s ok to feel grief at times that seems to never cease. The only mistake is never moving beyond them. The only mistake is not learning and growing from them. Feel it, then move on and be the best version of you. Danny G.

The Power of Faith and Triumph

What is true spiritual mastery? It’s being able to remain in alignment when everything around you is in chaos. It’s staying in balance, when you’re aching, or grieving. It’s loving the unlovable, and forgiving the perpetrators, no matter what pain they have caused you. Gaining mastery under the bright colored  sun, is good, and worthy, but gaining mastery within the storm is true mastery. When you know this and master this, nothing can pull you down, and the power of faith and triumph is in your hands. Danny G.

Her Revealing Eyes

He looked into her eyes, while anguish was staring back at him as she mourned in disarray, from the chaotic world of today. He then told himself, why has the world assumed that conflict and war is a solution, when so much are afflicted from the beginning? The answer was very simple to him, as he was observing her beautiful grieving face. Danny G.

Compassion Over Sympathy

Sympathy will cry with you for a lifetime, never getting you anywhere but grieving. Compassion will say get up, you have the power that creates worlds inside you, and you can conquer anything. Until you realize this, grief will drag you down until your very last day. Choose compassion, and it will reward you with the strength and will power to persevere. Danny G.
