The Subconscious Into Consciousness

What is being conscientious? It’s turning the subconscious mind into a conscious mind. It’s realizing all answers are within. What is inside us all? It’s the infinite, limitless energy and source.

When we’re not conscientious, it can be described as operating under a system we created based on prior experiences, beliefs, expectations and our environment. Let’s say you hear the words, “life is a battle ground and it’s a state of continuous struggle.” Is that a fact or is that a perception we created based on other beliefs and expectations? A loving father and source would not want us to suffer continuously. That would defy what he is which is love. That’s not denying the fact that there will be challenges and adversities, but our perception of adversities and challenges define who we are and what comes next.

Let’s say you hear the words “money is the root of all evil.” Would a compassionate father not want us to be financially prosperous and abundant? It’s not money that’s negative. Our perception of money and how we put it on a pedestal is negative. If money leads to greed, it’s negative. If money becomes our God, it’s negative. If money changes who we are, it’s negative.

If we allow other beliefs and expectations to define who we are and what we want, we never embrace our unique abilities and capabilities. We never embrace our authenticity. We can follow the pack or we can make our path. The ones who make their path are the ones who break the boundaries and thrive. They don’t need a system to define them, for they create their system and define themselves.

Don’t be mislead by your environment. Our environment is just our starting point. It’s not the final destination. What we do with our environment determines our future story. The environment can leave us pessimistic and bitter, or we can create our own optimism and compassion. We can allow our faith to shine through.

If we create subconsciously, that’s our indication that we can create consciously. For with enough effort and following our inner guidance, our subconscious mind can be completely replaced with pure consciousness and authenticity. Always remember, the power to create anew remains in your hands.

Your Optimal Best

When you care for your body, you increase productivity, strength and endurance. Caring for your body means developing a healthy lifestyle. Keeping a healthy lifestyle means being conscientious about our diet, exercise and sleep. It means eliminating stress by quieting the mind, relaxation and meditation.

Never taking a break leads to exhaustion and burnout over time. You’ll be doing yourself a favor when you care for your body. Overworking can lead to short term gain in the form of bonuses and financial gain, but over time it creates stress for your mind and body. It wears you out. It’s all about balance.

Keep a time for relaxation or meditation. All it takes is a few minutes per day. Ten minutes to twenty minutes over the course of years has been proven to change your physiology and mental health.

Meditation lowers pulse, so we can see this as a sort of beta blocker or antidepressant minus the side effects. Stress increases your pulse, and fast palpitations over time causes anxiety and in some cases heart issues. Meditation lowers blood pressure, and helps with insomnia issues. Meditation over time has been proven to lengthen telomeres which reverses your biological age and increases longevity.

Many people say they cannot meditate because they cannot sit still, because anxiety surfaces when they do. What is the problem, meditation or their thoughts? A healthy body and mind increases productivity, reduces sick days and improves optimism. Doesn’t a healthy body and mind feel much better?

Try having fast palpitations all day and have endurance. You can maintain it for a while but eventually it wears you out. Changing your inner dialogue is essential to greater health. Try being pessimistic and bitter the whole day and you’ll soon realize by the end of your day, you’re drained. Try optimism, faith, gratitude, appreciation and forgiveness, and it elevates your mood. Do it long enough and this will improve your productivity, strength and endurance. Over time it changes mental thought patterns.

Mental health is one of the leading causes for disability. When you have a healthy mind, it’s easier to do those things that will create a healthy body for you. We’ve all heard the saying, a healthy mind has the potential to create a healthy body. Do yourself a favor and seek personal care, and you’ll find not only your mind will benefit from it, but your body as well.

The Power Of Optimism

Speaking from a broad perspective, there are two mindsets. It’s optimism and pessimism. Optimism is seeing the good in the world, the good in yourself and in humanity. It’s changing the negative into a positive by finding meaning and purpose within the imperfections.

The one who is optimistic is less likely to have mental health challenges, because what is mental illness? It’s pessimism, bitterness and fear. Enough of these negative emotions, and you become depressed and anxious. Enough of these negative emotions, and you become overwhelmed, and you cannot manage it, which creates disease.

Mental illness can be described as not managing your mental health, or feeling powerless or not in control. If you were managing your mental health, you wouldn’t be mentally ill. Optimism makes the journey easier and swifter.

Optimism and faith go hand in hand. When we are truly optimistic, we have faith, and we can say when we have great faith, we are optimistic. Optimism is playing the best case scenario in your mind, while pessimism is replaying the worst case scenario.

Gratitude and appreciation is another form of optimism. When we are grateful and appreciative, we are optimistic. The key is to remain in this optimistic frame of mind as often as you can. You will fall from time to time, but that’s normal. It’s all part of being human. For when we master one challenge, another one is on the horizon waiting for us to grab a hold of, and conquer. That’s the process of life and our journey to personal growth.

True optimism says I forget and I forgive who’s done me wrong. True optimism says I let go of negative attachment or trauma. True optimism says I’m on this path for a reason, and it’s my choice to create as the deliberate creator I’m born to be.

The Power Of Faith

Faith is the motivation we need to achieve our desires. Without faith in yourself or in a higher power, you wouldn’t believe in yourself, nor would you believe you can achieve anything. It all starts with an idea, an inspiration, or an insight that motivates you to action, and that’s where faith begins.

With enough faith, inspired action calls you without hesitation. Faith is also knowing the source within you has all the answers and solutions you’re looking for. Who would know best other than the one who created you and that created the universe?

This source or creator is one of love, so he always has your best interest at heart. When you’re in alignment with this force, anything is possible and anything is within your reach. Faith is the answer to all your questions and solutions. It’s the answer to the desires of your heart.

When you ask a question to the divine, you must have faith, he will answer. When you ask him for a solution, you must believe there is a solution, and you must have faith in the infinite intelligence.

The desires of your heart are birthed by the divinity you are. If they weren’t possible, God wouldn’t have birthed the desire within you. What is having faith? It starts with three things: thoughts, words and actions.

Your thoughts are of faith when you dwell on possibilities and the power of the infinite. Your thoughts are of faith when you affirm, or speak about your desires as though they’ve already manifested. It’s aligning your thoughts and words with the divinity you are.

The final step is recognizing when you’re ready to take action. It’s recognizing the opportunity and following inspired action. Inspired action feels like ease and peace. It feels like the next logical step. Let peace be your empire, and as of Tao would describe it, let yourself be lived by it.

It’s Already Yours

There’s two ways of pursuing your desires. You can focus on lack and declare lack. You can declare that you need this thing to feel happy and worthy. Or you can be happy, fulfilled and at peace regardless of its current lack, and still focus and act on your dreams. Which journey feels better?

You’re always going to seek to achieve a new desire. Once a desire is fulfilled, then another one is conceived, and you’ll be working to achieve a new dream. Focusing on lack creates stress and bitterness. You can focus on scarcity or you can focus on faith. The choice is up to you.

Needing something outside yourself to feel fulfilled doesn’t feel joyous. It’s because you’re depending on something outside yourself to be happy. Therefore, you feel disempowered and not in control of the situation.

When you feel fulfilled regardless of the situation and you trust the universe will deliver your desires, you don’t need anything to be happy. You know happiness comes from within, and you know when you’re in alignment, the manifestation is inevitable. You feel in control of the only thing you are in control of, your inner world, which has the power to create your outer world and attract what you want in life.

With this self control and empowerment, you know you can  attract anything you desire. The best way to have more in life is to make peace with your present circumstances, feel gratitude, and appreciation.

What happens when you are happy, grateful and at peace despite lack or scarcity in the physical world? You are stable, balanced and in alignment with the divine. What happens when you are happy and steadfast despite the chaos of the world? You are stable, balanced and in alignment with the divine.

Stability and alignment with source means you’re ready for your manifestations. When you feel unfulfilled, unhappy and uneasy because your dreams haven’t manifested, you’re trading your mental health for lack or scarcity.

If you want to create a new life story, don’t focus on lack. Stop fighting against lack. Feel appreciation, joy and peace. You’ll discover this is the best path to greater joy and your manifestations.

You become what you think about. Be your own source of inspiration and motivation. Don’t fall victim to disempowerment and the outside world. You control your inner world, and that’s enough to change your outer world.

Mapping A New Life

In order to map a new life and future, you must let go of the old. Let go of misconceptions, mistranslations, and lies you acquired over time. Over time, you began listening to others, neglecting your inner guidance. You began listening to world views which you thought had greater truth than your wisdom. You began constructing your life based on others perceptions, the leaders and experts of our planet.

Advice is good, however, every person is unique and authentic and we all have a different journey. People feel they need a rule book to live their lives. I’m not saying rules are not conducive to a greater society, however, every situation is different, and life is always changing and evolving.

Ruling our lives based on yesterday perpetuates yesterdays. What if we continued to neglect women’s rights? Would we see change in equality and production with women? What improved women’s rights were people who stood up for a new resolution, a greater life and equal rights.

How are gay people viewed today as opposed to the early 20th century? We live in a world with greater acceptance. As before, gay people would hide, now much more are expressing themselves in ways that society would previously abolish.

In the 19th and 20th century, life seemed mapped out for us from the time we were children. We had teachers and leaders who would tell us what we can or cannot do based on their observations. How many of those people who were belittled or misjudged turned out to be a success story? What if they listened to the misconceptions and continued to create the same reality? Would they see change?

Humanity needs people who take the initiative to create positive change and break the boundaries. Breaking the boundaries means not listening to the misconceptions of yesterday or people who believe you can’t do it. It’s accepting contrast, accepting everyone’s journey and beliefs. It’s standing up for your rights and knowing what others say doesn’t create your life story.

You create your life story through the authentic and unique being you are. Listen to your inner guidance, wisdom and intuition, and you’ll discover the leader and expert within you.

Inner Stillness Versus Inner Chaos

Many people who begin meditating feel strong negative emotion, irritability and agitation. This is because the mind and body is used to being occupied. It’s also because when we begin meditation, it’s easier to listen to our subconscious. Within our subconscious mind lies what perpetuates our negative emotion, irritability and agitation. It’s also where our wisdom, faith and love resides.

Within our subconscious mind lies our fears, misconceptions, beliefs and expectations. When we quiet our mind, it’s easier to access the subconscious. Think about being preoccupied filled with to do lists, pressures and deadlines. Your mind is focused on the outer world, on physicality and your ego at times. What does ego mean? Edging God Out!

When we become overly consumed with the outer world, we neglect our inner selves. We neglect our inner guidance and wisdom. When we close our eyes in silence and try to focus on nothing or just leave our thoughts drift, often our thoughts drift to what’s been lingering inside. Often it’s what’s been lingering for a long time.

Some positive beliefs and expectations and some negative beliefs and expectations. In order to create a new you and a new reality, you must let go of the old. That means letting go of negative beliefs and expectations.

The negative beliefs are misconceptions you gathered over time. Can be misconceptions about your self image, your abilities and capabilities. Can be misconceptions about God, who he is, and what he expects of you. Can be a distorted vision of God.

Negative expectations can be expecting the worst outcome. Can be fear of death, of losing your loved ones, or of God not being satisfied with you. Can be work related or parenting as in you’re never doing enough.

Often when all these negative emotions surface, we panic and it’s much more difficult to have clarity of thought. You can speak affirmations of your desired emotions or desired outcome, and it’s beneficial to do so. However, you cannot fight all day. Your brain needs a break.

Let the negative thoughts run their course. Don’t fight it, just let it be. When you no longer give them attention, they subside and disappear. Then meditation becomes easier and you’ll begin to enjoy its many benefits. You’ll begin to enjoy your time out from the world. You’ll realize this is the best means to quiet your mind, be still and access your wisdom.

From within lies the answers, solutions and insights you need for greater joy, health and success.

Being Productive With Your Time

Our mind and body are constantly changing and evolving. Is your body the same as it was 5 years ago or 10 years ago? The question should be, how do we change our mind and body for our greatest good, happiness and success.

The only control we have is through thoughts, words and actions. Enough thoughts creates feelings and emotions. Enough words creates feelings and emotions. Behavior is enough thinking or speaking that results in action.

You can think yourself into exhaustion if you dwell on lack of energy or lack of enthusiasm. Or you can think of yourself as strong if you dwell on the infinite and limitless source that lives inside you. You can think yourself into sickness if you only dwell on your symptoms and pain. Or you can think yourself into health if you focus on faith, wisdom and love.

When you focus on faith, how much energy is left on fear? When you focus all your attention on faith, how much energy is left on feelings of lack? When you focus on wisdom, inspiration and enlightenment, are you more likely to make wise choices or poor choices?

Whatever you entertain in your mind, you project into your body and your every day choices. When you reflect on love, how much space is there for anger, bitterness and pessimism? It all depends on how much energy you focus and act on positive emotions rather than negative emotions.

I use these 3 emotions of faith, wisdom and love because they are so important to greater health, joy and success. Faith is the opposite of fear. It’s also the opposite of lack. It’s the opposite of pessimism. Wisdom is what allows us to make wise choices and put our faith into action. Love is what God is, and when we dwell on love rather than anger, bitterness and pessimism, we’re in alignment with the divine. Self love and loving others is God in action.

Symptoms only control us to the degree we allow them to. Failure only controls us to the degree we allow it to. It’s our reaction that defines us and the life that unfolds. If we focus all our mental energy on our symptoms and pain, we give the symptoms greater power. If we focus all our energy on failure, little energy is left for learning, growing and transformation.

You only have so much energy until you need to rest and rejuvenate your body. Use that time wisely, and you’ll have greater health, joy and success.

Wisdom Over Impulse

Acting on impulse is acting on anger, pessimism or bitterness. It’s the opposite of contemplation and reflection. It’s quick to feed the emotions, but it’s often quick the wrong way, and ends up causing heartache and trouble.

When you allow negative emotions to consume you, eventually they spill out in your behavior, words and impulses. Often they cause trouble later on or they create strife with your loved ones.

Our impulses or wisdom can either have negative consequences or benefits. The choice is up to us to listen to our quick impulses or to seek wisdom in spite of difficulties. Impulses often lacks wisdom and wisdom always leads to a greater life and future. Wisdom can be described as God, for whenever we seek God, wisdom is there.

Wisdom is the ideal pathway for your life. Wisdom creates health, success and happiness, for who knows better than wisdom, the ultimate divine and source. Seeking inward before believing misconceptions, is the path to enlightenment.

The key is to practice self control and discipline, for wisdom requires self control and self reliance. Seeking wisdom above the ego, and choosing long term gain over short time satisfaction is key to a greater life and future.

We can venture into all sorts of directions in our life, never getting anywhere, never creating success or contributing to the world. That can be described as making quick judgments and  acting on impulses.

Everyone experiences failures or setbacks, however, if we combine wisdom with failure, we learn from our mistakes and move forward towards our dreams and desires. Often when we begin our journey, we act on impulse, and we quickly feed our ego.

Over time and often with age, we acquire wisdom because life causes us to contemplate and seek further insight. We can either move with this insight or we can wander in the desert our whole life.

Everyone wanders from time to time, however, don’t let that become your permanent home. Learn, remember and choose the path to enlightenment.

Recovering from OCD

OCD or obsessive compulsive disorder can be described as an overactive mind. Overactive mind can be exhausting at times, especially when your thoughts cannot seem to stop. Your mind needs a break.

It’s fine to want to fix something and improve a condition or situation. However, when you become obsessed and your mind is always fighting for the answer, over time, it takes a toll on your mental health.

What is the opposite of an overactive mind? Stillness, tranquility and quieting the mind. Many practices incorporate stillness such as meditation, affirmations or visualization. Sometimes you may just need more solitude to bring about clarity of thought.

You cannot fix or figure out everything right away, and you must be at peace with it regardless. Having inner peace means knowing with time, the answer or solution will come, when you allow faith to be your friend.

Faith is trusting the universe, trusting yourself, and knowing this universal source is for you, not against you. When you become obsessed with your fears or you have beliefs that are consistently troubling you, know life has many seasons, and some seasons require time to bring relief, clarity and healing.

You must learn to manage your thoughts so they don’t consume you, because when you can’t manage them, they become a disorder. Distract that obsessive thought by thinking of something positive and productive. Speak affirmations about your desired outcome until the obsessive thought dissipates. When you feel the impulse to act on something you know is unwise, refocus your thoughts on wisdom, love and faith. For whatever you consistently focus on becomes your inner dialogue, and your inner dialogue becomes you and your behavior.

Speak affirmations about your desired outcome until there is no space left in your mind for your obsessive thoughts. Keep on interrupting the obsessive thought until you’re focused on your new desire and outcome.

With practice, persistence and faith, you’ll gain mastery over your mind, and when you achieve this state, self control and discipline becomes your friend, and your ultimate destination.
