If we simply be who we truly are, and do what resonates with our higher self, everything we want will come to us at the ideal time. But if we lose our alignment for a job, lover or any other endeavor, we’re depending on something outside of ourselves and we lose our power. When we focus our thoughts on an inner calling, we must be diligent to stay on course and keep our balance. Let’s not cling to something outside of ourselves, let’s cling to our alignment with ourselves, which is ultimately our greatest power. Some jobs or lovers are only meant for a season and some are meant for a lifetime. The ideal choice would be to seek first our alignment with our source and let go of the rest. Trust that the season will bring the perfect person or opportunity, and the next season will take care of itself. Danny G.
The Power of Influence
The greatest power we have over our loved ones and others is through the power of influence. We cannot choose for others. They have their own agenda, and sometimes they make mistakes, and get into trouble. The best method to assist them is to remind them of who they truly are and what they’re capable of. Then it’s to have confidence in them, that they can do whatever they set their mind to. It’s to know they have the means to achieve it and it’s to know the universe is conspiring on their behalf. Danny G.
The Soul and Physicality
Looks fade as we get older, our figure changes, we gain weight, and we’re not as agile and strong as our younger years. Jobs come and go. Sometimes our finances fluctuates back and forth, feeling like it never settles. Things that we see with our physical senses come and go. The one thing we can always depend on is our soul. The soul never leaves and it always reveals a person’s true identity. Everything else is subject to change and it’s irrelevant to who we are. The soul always seeks the everlasting self, which withstands all time. The soul seeks divinity in ourselves, and the world, and it doesn’t care about matters that are irrelevant to who we are. Danny G.
You’re Not That Far Behind
Sometimes when we’re at wits end, we are actually very close to our breakthrough. Though we may not know it, we are closer, and ready for our breakthrough. The wise one persists despite the insurmountable opposition, that occurs before his victory. Then he ends up on the other side victoriously, remembering the day he so wanted to give in. Danny G.
Stepping Back From the Chaos (Poem)
In the quiet of the night,
Where everything is still,
And dark
Behind the misty sky,
The world shuts down,
Stops,
And dreams,
Looks so real
As we ponder
The night-time visions
Of above,
Giving us glimpses
Of our daily thoughts
As we contemplate,
Breathe,
And Rejuvenate.
When we get up,
Like the quiet of the night,
This place of stillness,
Away from the chaos
Of today,
No distractions,
Just being,
Without contradictions,
Steering us away,
From our divine purpose
And unanswered prayers.
We find a place within,
Where all answers are within,
What was once hidden,
Is now within our reach,
As we contemplate, correlate,
And find our place,
In the chaotic world of today.
From this space of stillness,
What was once an annoyance
And disturbance,
Is now a figment,
Of our imagination,
Always was,
We just didn’t accept it
Until we stepped back,
And looked within,
The essential calling,
Of our soul.
The Swim to Victory (Poem)
As I swim in the deep cold blue,
Beneath remains squids, sharks, stingrays
And 30 feet deep.
I stay focused on the sandy shore,
About 500 meters away,
As the current comes sweeping my way,
I gasp for air,
In these 10 feet waves,
From the shoreline grace,
Completely focused on my destiny,
Completely focused on my victory,
I’ve pulled through in my mind,
So be it in life.
As the squids try to attach,
And the sharks try to bite,
And the stingrays tries to sting,
I’ve been down this current before,
I won it in my mind,
So be it in life.
The Teacher
The teacher always presents himself at the ideal time for your ultimate best. He pushes you into uncharted territory to smooth out the rough edges. With always your best interest at heart, if you simply listen, and not push against, he will reveal to you, your true self, from your own lenses. Danny G.
Just Being (Poem)
A hot cup of java,
On a cold wintery morning,
Sipping and staring at the bay.
Watching snowflakes,
Melt on the branches,
As it drips,
Into the shadowy stream.
Glancing at the sunrise,
While the birds whistle
And sing, like a melody,
With hymns.
I feel the cool crisp air on my skin,
As I’m lost in the moment,
Without a care in the world,
Just being.
Overcoming and Thriving (Poem)
Without mountains to shake us deep,
We are merely sheep wandering in the field,
Merely existing but not living,
On flat ground as we wonder around.
No opportunities to strive for,
No burning desire to reach for,
No journey,
Merely existing, wandering around,
With no desire to strive for.
We condemn what unfolds the journey,
And condemn what creates triumph,
In this extravagant world
Of ups, downs
Falls, and triumph.
Let’s not forget
That all,
Creates the journey
The destiny,
A new awareness
Of it all.
Harmoniously With the Divine (Poem)
The more I separated from the divine,
I was clouded by the misty wall.
The misty wall was all I could see,
Without your lenses through the deep.
The more I pursue despite the lies,
I can see you and me harmoniously.
As long as you’re here with me,
There’s nothing and nowhere I cannot be.
And as long as you’re here with me,
I can just be,
Conquer mountains
In front of me.
