When you experience triggers or trauma resurfacing in your life, remember that it’s just an old wound that still needs healing. Though the pain may still be there, remember that you overcame it before, and you can do it again. The process of healing is not a straight line, but a reemergence of what you have learned over and over again. Practice, repeat, and persist with faith. Danny G.
Thought for Today
If you want to be well, do not hate the disease or symptoms, because you’re only adding resistance and additional stress to your body, mind, and spirit. If you want to be well, love yourself despite the disorder. Be the best version of yourself regardless of your symptoms. Speak to your body and ask it what it needs. Seek the root cause, surrender to the pain, and change your self-talk to one of optimism and faith. You’ll discover that seeking inward is the best medicine. Danny G.
Thought for Today
Trauma has ripple effects for generations to come. Retaliation only causes more trauma. Profiling everyone because of trauma will only cause more pain and misery. Know that despite the pain they caused you, there are many more willing to help. Retaliation will only create a barrier between you and those with a sincere heart. The more you fight, the more they push back. Surrender, and let God handle the rest.

Just Feel It
Notice if your past is repeated in the present. Notice if the pain comes back endlessly and repetitively. Be aware without fighting the thoughts or resisting them. Be aware without finding fault with them. Just feel it, focus on your desire and then let go. Danny G.Â
Understanding Its Origin
Ask yourself, what is this pain or adversity trying to tell you? Listen, be open minded and contemplate. There’s opportunities within every adversity, and there’s opportunities within our pain. Contemplate without frustration or confusion. Allow clarity to become you by stepping back from the challenge and understanding its origin. Danny G.Â
Stand in Your Power
Pain is exemplified by the mind. The more you feed it, and give it all sorts of names, the more you perpetuate it. Stand in your power, be still and listen to what the pain is telling you. There’s a world of knowledge within you. Within you lies faith and peace that transcends all understanding. Danny G.Â
The Tide Swept Away to the Sea
When in pain or despair, do not perpetuate it by your incessant fear and dread. Accept it without focusing all your energy towards it. For whatever you do not fight or resist, eventually dissipates and drifts away, like the tide swept away to the sea. Danny G.Â
With Astonishment and Grace
Most of your problems exist in the past or the future. You’re either rethinking old memories that bring about heartache and pain. Or you’re dreading the future over fears or your pessimistic outlook. Accept your current reality and find that space of inner peace and stillness despite the challenges or chaos. Know reality can change with a shift of perception and faith. Persist long enough, be steadfast to your dream, and you’ll get there with astonishment and grace. Danny G.Â
Pause Reflect and Contemplate
Sit with your pain. Listen to what it’s telling you. Identify its root cause and reason for being. Pause, reflect and contemplate. From within lies a world of insights and wisdom. Accept you’re a work in progress, and appreciate every step forward you take. This is the journey of healing inside out. Danny G.Â
Destined to Conquer
We do not want to face what is painful or terrifying. We let it linger where it collects more energy, so much that it’s ready to burst. We keep on ignoring it, until we are forced to face it. Don’t wait until the problem becomes insurmountable, or overwhelming. Catch it in the earlier stages, seek peace despite the challenge, and declare the Phoenix you are, destined to conquer.
