True love should allow you to become the best version of you. If it causes you to distance yourself, know it’s not love. If it causes you to be who you truly are, that’s love. Your life partner should a reflection of your inner thoughts and feelings. Danny G.
Joy Versus Ego
There are people who seek merely wealth, lust and attractiveness in a partner. There are people who seek primarily love, appreciation or loyalty in their significant other. One brings ego and the other brings joy. What’s sad is many choose the ego over the joy. Danny G.
Choose You
Don’t make a relationship or a lover your world. If you make a relationship or a lover your world, and that person leaves your life, you lose yourself in the process. If you want to make something your world, choose yourself and God, for this never leaves you. Danny G.
Faith in the Right Place
Don’t put all your fate and faith in a lover, for when he or she leaves, you will feel broken as though you lost your life purpose. Seek yourself and your spiritual evolution, and the rest will take care of itself. Invest time for yourself, and then the right one will come and will be here to stay. Danny G.
Predestined To Be
However long this last, whether it’s friendship, keeping in touch or a lifetime romance, you’ll always be a sacred part of my life, now and in other dimensions to come. For no relationship is without reason and every relationship imparts a seed. If it wasn’t meant to be, it just wouldn’t be, so simply allow what’s predestined to be. Danny G.
Eternally Destined to Be
Relationships come and vanish as though they had a simple mission to fulfill in our journey. Some stay for a lifetime, some only for a season as though they imparted a seed, watched it grow, then left when it bloomed. One thing is for sure, they always leave us with lessons, memories and adventures, as we tread the path to our divine purpose and destiny. Some memories are notable, some adventures are thrilling and some sad, but the journey of love is always eternally destined to be. Danny G.
The One Who Changed It All
There was a time when you depended on someone, a mentor of some sort, whom you relied on for everything. You went to him when you were in your darkest alleys, trying to find relief, out of mere frustrations and disarray. Everything he taught you made sense, and it resonated with your very core. Today, you’re on stable footing, but you still remember this very day. The day where you sought help out of mere confusion, and found relief. You still remember the man, as he was your own flesh and blood. Now you’re ok, you’ve got the tools, while you allow the current to sweep you away, and you remember with faith, appreciation, and astonishment, the one who changed it all on your darkest day. Danny G.
The Power of Influence
The greatest power we have over our loved ones and others is through the power of influence. We cannot choose for others. They have their own agenda, and sometimes they make mistakes, and get into trouble. The best method to assist them is to remind them of who they truly are and what they’re capable of. Then it’s to have confidence in them, that they can do whatever they set their mind to. It’s to know they have the means to achieve it and it’s to know the universe is conspiring on their behalf. Danny G.
Be the Beacon
You have the power of influence to help your loved ones fulfill their destiny and dreams. The only control you’ll ever have over another is through the power of influence. Therefore, be a beacon for your loved ones to complete their mission and ultimately their destiny. Danny G.
Face Life the Real Way (Poem)
He came into this life,
With atrocities of every kind,
As all he wanted was a life
Free of trouble
And heartache.
As he was looking for freedom,
And inner peace,
He was bound by beatings,
inferiority
And abuse.
He then reverted to alcohol,
All day and all night,
As he was looking for stillness,
And couldn’t find it at home.
He then sank into this pit,
Of self-destruction
And maze,
He couldn’t get out,
So he drank and smoked pot
To relieve the pain.
Numbness was his stillness,
Until he developed
Health problems, and this overwhelming sadness.
He was feeling empty,
All this time,
He was reverting to alcohol and drugs
To numb the pain.
Then one day,
A lady came into his life,
Loved him like no other ever did.
Taught him self-love,
How to appreciate the moment,
Finally he was happy and felt understood.
He never understood,
Why he was brought up this way,
But he knew this young lady
Was a gift from God, till this day.
He then said to himself,
No longer will I numb the pain,
From this dark cloud,
Of self-destruction and maze.
Despite the troubles,
I still see beauty in the world,
Despite its imperfections,
And I choose, to face life this way.
