Embracing the Journey

We spend our lives waiting for those experiences and achievements, that are not yet our reality today. We focus on them so much that we forget to live for today, and we don’t realize the things we wished for yesterday, is our reality today. So give thanks, and take notice while expecting your dreams to flourish tomorrow. If you don’t, you’ll wake up at 80 and realize you missed the journey. It is great to have aspirations and dreams, and taking action to make them a reality. But when your sole focus is on tomorrow, you miss the journey, your growth, and all the reasons to just be the joyous soul you came forth to be. Danny G.

Perception is Everything

Dear mountain of mine, maybe I cannot change you at this present time, and perhaps you’ll remain for a while. Nevertheless, perception is mine, and I choose to see you for what you are. You’re simply a creation of mine, impermanent, but permanent in the lesson you imprint in my heart. Danny G.

Savor It

Moments pass, and years accumulate,

Into a world we once perceived.

Nevertheless, it’s all creation

As though an artist paints and moves the clay.

We stand still, in silence,

We can hear the music play,

The music plays in harmony

Of the present, past,

Smudges of paint

And some a masterpiece.

Some moments vanish,

But memories still remain,

As we contemplate

Those distant memories again.

Some brings joy,

And some sadness,

Always lessons and wisdom

Contained within.

Let’s sit here, appreciate

What it brought the journey within.

But let’s never forget

To savor it all,

And that includes the gift of today. Danny G.

Devotion and Perseverance

Though others don’t love you because you do not conform, God loves you because of your devotion. Though others don’t understand you because you’re different, God understands you for he created you, and he resides in you. What makes you unique is your strength and perseverance to not give in, and to not allow the world to change you into someone you’re not. Danny G.

Claim It Now

When opportunity knocks at your door, believe in your worthiness, and can do spirit. You worked so hard to be where you are today, after long hard nights, perseverance and faith. You flourished and called it your own, now you’re standing next to it, so claim it now. Danny G.

Beyond the Ego

Don’t be superficial when assessing others, for everyone has a story and a reason for being. Compassion is understanding there’s much more beyond the surface. It’s looking beyond the ego lenses, and seeing the depth underneath. When you acknowledge this, everyone becomes a teacher, and you learn there’s a lesson from everyone’s journey. Danny G.

A Peaceful Haven for Everyone

Why is love the most powerful force in the universe? Because loves creates union and peace on earth. Hate, fear, and revenge creates separation, conflict, and war. Why would God create contrast and a humanity for us to be against each other, or fight? Why would God create a humanity yet want separation? God said love is the most powerful force in the universe, because he knew we would need it to create a peaceful haven for everyone. Danny G.

Your Calling

Failure may knock on your door at times, and you may not always find the clarity you’re looking for. The mountain can seem insurmountable, and its uphill can leave you tired and frail. Always keep in mind that with persistence and faith, your purpose and destiny is calling you to greatness. Danny G.

Remember Your Origin

Though there may be many detours and wrong turns, remember why you started, and why you persevered. Though you may feel like giving up, remember your origin, strength, and wisdom. It’s within you, waiting for you, and waiting to be unleashed. If you simply accept, embrace and know your mission within, you will be astounded by your untapped potential and greatness. Danny G.

A Plan from the Start

You fall because you’re an imperfect being treading the path of imperfections. You fall because sometimes temptations exceed the gift of wisdom. You fall because you’re a work in progress bound to know yourself better. You’re a work of art awaiting the finished product, while still treading in the land of imperfections. But once the work is done, you’ll look at it from a distance, the bright colored canvas, with all the oily paintings you created. You’ll smile and say, it all worked itself out, and God was still with me in the rocky beginnings, and inevitably, he had a plan from the start. Danny G.
