Creation and Seasons (Poem)

Seasons,

They come and go.

Like a withering Hand,

And a beautiful pearl.

A beautiful day,

Along with the raging storm,

It always comes back,

To a beautiful day.

The storm rushes in,

With little no signals.

We hide in the safe harbour,

As fast as we can,

Where peace and safety,

Is in our reach.

It has always been,

We simply lost the key.

Others remain,

In the storm,

Uncovering the mysteries,

Deep within.

Some relinquish, some persevere,

In the world of no certainty,

Of reality and dream.

We chug along,

The unknown path,

Trying our best,

To not hold back.

Reality uncovering,

In every fashion,

Steering you, in every direction,

We think, is there an end,

So we create this reality,

Not knowingly and forget.

Are we just taught this way,

To accept reality,

Its only prophecy and world disarray.

So many choices,

Along the path,

So why not choose God,

And let him steer the raft.

We are ambassadors,

In this created reality,

We create it as we want,

And then let our mind conceive it,

As it leaps in.

Let’s create ourselves anew,

In this illusionary realm,

With a peaceful world, living our dream.

Seek First Within

Don’t focus entirely on a medicine alone, focus on your healing journey, and let the medicine do its job. Your job is to focus on a healthy mind, body and spirit. Focusing on a healthy mind means addressing the mental patterns that created the health issue and that is perpetuating the problem. Focusing on a healthy body means addressing lifestyle choices that are conducive for optimal health. Focusing on your spiritual self means to seek the evolution of your soul. If you focus merely on medicine, it can be described as putting a bandage on a wound, which will eventually seep again. It seeps again because your problem is in your mind, not the physical. Seek first a healthy mind, body and spirit, then the medicine will only facilitate the process. Danny G.

Being Steadfast

What happens when we walk into an exam room completely oblivious and not prepared with what will be on the exam? We feel anxious, we doubt ourselves, and we worry about not passing the exam, which is normal because we haven’t studied. Same goes with life, and the challenges we face on a daily basis along with the goals we set for ourselves. If we’re not prepared and ready to withstand the challenges of life, we risk failing, and giving up all together.

We’ve heard the saying, mindset changes everything, so if we’re completely oblivious on how to handle the obstacles on our path, how do we not waver? How can we believe in our well being or prosperity, if we’re not confident, and we have no reason to believe in ourselves? We all need wisdom in life, to make good choices and to become the greater version of ourselves. Without wisdom, we have no guidance or direction and it’s the circumstances and experiences in life that will decide for us.

Having the right mindset means focusing on our source and the solution. It can be health challenges, relationship challenges, career challenges or any future endeavours. If we don’t spend time refocusing our thoughts, or reflecting, we will be clueless when we face the trials of life. Then we end up failing, when a little bit of contemplation and refocusing would have changed the course.

Only when we focus on the solution and we prepare ourselves mentally by changing our thoughts, we are able to handle whatever comes our way. We can have all the knowledge in the world, but if we lack wisdom and we don’t know how to handle adversities and challenges, the knowledge won’t do any good.

We’ve heard the parable of the two men who built their houses, one of them built his house on a rock while the other one built his house on the sand. When the storm came in, the house on the rock was still standing while the house on the sand fell. The parable says we are to build our house on a rock to withstand the storm. This simply means being prepared and solid to withstand times of adversity, by immersing ourselves in the truths that govern humanity.

All we need is a few minutes every day devoted to our spiritual relationship with ourselves. Five, ten or fifteen minutes of meditation or refocusing allows us to face challenges in life with greater ease and wisdom, and the adversity isn’t as overwhelming.

When we are prepared for the exam, we’re confident, and successful. Same applies in life, and the everyday day challenges and the opportunities for growth. If we devote time for our wellness and growth, we will be confident and successful in life. The adversity will teach us valuable insight that will be beneficial for the next challenge or endeavour.

Our Power Comes From Within

If we base ourselves on a statistic, then we lose our power. Our power comes from within, not from statistics. Depending on research for confirmation is casting our faith in others rather than recognizing our own power to heal and thrive. Danny G

The Mountain of Clay (Poem)

Out in the wilderness,

Where winds burst away.

We are all creators today,

On a mountain of clay.

The mountain can be atrocious,

With its height and surface.

But we keep pressing on,

Until the day we’re gone.

Our nests high up in the trees above,

The winds toss and turn its branches and trunk.

Our nests shake in the storm at night,

But we still remain,

Because we’re eagles who soar,

And don’t take flight.

The clay is moldable to our disguise.

We shape it the way we want,

Upon the mountain of clay.

We stand tall affirm out loud,

Even if we waver we still consider,

We’ve survived it all,

Despite the turns and falls,

All according to the inexplicable laws.

We call this time space a mountain of clay.

We are the change to transform today.

Although the turns and detours,

Won’t lead us astray.

Many sights and experiences to chase away.

This is our life, stand and relax.

Don’t hold back in the pottery and clay.

Look above, all the answers lies,

In the one who created the skies

Pulled Myself Together and Claimed (Poem)

When I lay in bed,

Remembering the nights I spent in dread.

I realize it was not long ago,

That I felt so sad and low.

I so wanted an escape,

To solve all my problems and my rage,

Prayed for help from up above,

Said help me now if you’re a source of love.

Confusion swept away,

When nothing happened I burst away.

I kept treading on the path,

Trying my best when I was sad.

I kept a happy face,

When all I did all day was pace.

And speak to God, is this worth it,

If in the end I’m sad and lose it.

Then the day finally came,

I pulled myself together and claimed,

The fear and dread isn’t here to stay,

As I thank God for the coming day.

Changed my beliefs and spoke the truth,

Spoke it into being while feeling aloof.

Although at first I didn’t believe it,

Spoke it so much that now I feel it.

Thanked God from up above,

Said thank you for being a source of love.

That day I finally meant it,

As before I was broken and loathed it.

Stay positive and don’t waiver,

Stand boldly, praise, don’t reconsider.

Know you have control,

As you seek expansion of the soul.

And know this day won’t come,

If you relinquish before it’s done.

Letting Go and Embracing

What happens when your only concern is material possessions or wealth or recognition, then you lose it? You lose yourself in the process. If you want to put all your heart in something, choose God and your soul, for this never leaves you. Danny G.

The Pioneer

There’s a pioneer for every mission anyone has ever embarked on. Every time we embark on new territory, and it’s unfamiliar grounds in which no one travelled, we’re setting an example. By taking action and succeeding on a task or challenge that seemed impossible at first for ourselves or humanity, people start to believe it’s possible. They have validation that the task or challenge is within their control and they have the power to overcome and achieve success.

Why is that? Because they saw it or heard it or read about it, and if one person did it, they believe their goal or dream is within their reach and achievable.

Our experience or breakthrough becomes a confirmation for others that what was once impossible, is now achievable. We lead and teach through the clarity of our example and through experience.

There had to be one person or a few who first healed from cancer to break our limited thinking and believe if one man did it, then we all can. When cancer was first discovered, how many people survived compared to how many are surviving today?

Cancer was almost a death sentence a few decades ago but today there are more and more cancer survivors. Before that one breakthrough, cancer was incurable and many people believed the disease to be impossible to recover. But one person fought long and hard for something he knew he had the potential to heal despite everyone telling him it was incurable, and he healed.

What would have happened if he would have listened to everyone who told him, cancer is incurable or the prognosis is not good? Would he have planned for his healing? Would he have kept on fighting and focusing on his healing? If he believed it was impossible, would he see a point in focusing on his recovery?

There had to be one person or a few who so wanted justice for everyone on this planet and who fought long and hard to provide equality for everyone, which started a shift that is still making a difference today.

Why was slavery abolished in many parts of the world? Why have we had the integration of visible minorities in many parts of the world? How are women’s rights today compared to the 19th century when women weren’t able to vote? How was sexual harassment against women in the workplace a few decades ago when there wasn’t any law against extortion?

These individuals had the compassion to change the injustice and they fought for equality and peace on the planet, which created a change that we’re still experiencing today. There had to be one person who stood up for what he believed and never backed down despite everyone being against him, but because of his determination and persistence, he prevailed.

Looking at the statistics or listening to the experts can be helpful and can be wise, but the wiser person says, I don’t need someone else to prove to me that this is attainable. I can set my own boundaries, and be the first person to change a so called impossible to I CAN!

All of us can be pioneers because we’re unique and we have our own skills and abilities, meaning there’s no exact replica of any individual on this planet. Don’t wait for confirmation and validation from others to do something someone was never able to do, whether it’s healing from a particular health challenge, or achieving a dream.

Value everyone that freely gives you advice, and receive it if the advice agrees with you, but be the pioneer who says, I’m going to succeed and I don’t need validation to say I CAN!
